The researching objective of the thesis is Dance Education arising from the first Chinese school majored in dance-Beijing Dance School founded in 1954. In this paper, the theories and researching methods of Ethnology and sociology are used as the basis and the basic educational principles are used as guidance. Chinese dance education is put into the historical background of social and cultural change. Based on reviewing and concluding the dance education of half a century, the new trend of researching on how to fit in new situation, new environment and market economy becomes urgent. Therefore, some immature suggestions are put forward in order to further strengthen and develop Chinese minority dance education enterprise.The thesis is divided into five parts: Preface; the First part - The Background of Chinese Dance Education Development; the Second Part -Investigation On the Spot; the Third Part - Theoretical Analysis; the Fourth Part - Strategy Research, Conclusion and Suggestions.Preface. This part explains the reason of choosing this topic, the basic design, the current situation of dancing subject, the core problems of research, the theories and methods of research and the condition and significance of this research. In short, as a branch subject of education, dance education is developed later than others and its academic construction lags behind others, such as fine art and musical education. Through the development of half a century, it is well known that Chinese dance education contributes a lot to the development of Chinese dance enterprise and the training of dancing talents. However, following the further development of society and more and more serious demand of dancing talents, the fostering mode of early period has its shortcomings and disadvantages which will have a worse effect on the development of thesubject and talents fostering.The First Part -- The Background of Chinese Dance Education DevelopmentFirst, the paper reviews the history of dance education, including the foundation and development of the school, the foundation of dace education system, academic research, talents fostering and so on.Second, the paper simply analyzes the opportunities and challenge of dance education in the mew situation. As a product of Planing Economy, dance education has its own typical characteristics. As long as the students go into the colleges and schools of dance, it means going into an insurance box. The academic direction of major is chosen by school and the food, clothing and shelter are arranged by school and country. They do not have independence of choice. So the situation of" good body but simple, mind" has come into being gradually.Following the globalization of economy, the foundation of market economy, the full construction of well-off society and the practice of west open policy, the civilization of material, politics and spirit has been strengthened. The central government attaches the most importance and gives the largest supports to the development of cultural enterprise. This brings dance education good chances and large challenges. I think the revolution of Chinese dance education has two aspects. On one hand, we should try to solve the problems unsolved and not solved well in current teaching pattern; on the other hand, we should face the new problems appearing in the reality and future of social development.Second, Investigation On the Spot. First of all, we should understand the developing trend of dance schools in different parts of China. The trend includes the variety of academic system, the enlargement of the school scale, the design of majors, the improvement of the .level of fostering talents, the development of private school and some measures used to fit inthe new situation. In the second place, I investigate and learn the regulations of school and the evaluations from the students and their parents.
