This report is a case study of china international famine relief commission in the Republic of China. From the point of societal organization, this research is made up of seven chapters. The first chapter mainly analyses the economic and social background of the China international famine relief commission; the second chapter focuses on its organizing and syncretizing course, and on how to obtain its legality; the third and fourth section mainly discuss the China international famine relief commission's organization, institution, income, use, etc. The fifth and sixth section discuss social function and effect from the view of preventing the famine and developing the rural collaboration.
