This article trims the relating literary activities of those mainland writers coming south to H. K. in the period 1945-1949, starting from the close relationship between mainland writers and H. K. in the mordern history.The article describes the southing condition of two times in the chronological order and further analyzes the special literary enviroment and background in H. K. 1945-1949, pointouting the principle that the. description on the literary activities in the period should abide by the real-history.In the period 1945-1949, there're about 300 to 400 southing writers in HK. One of this article's emphases is to classify the southing writers by region color, personal choice and political influence for outlining the different characters of southing writers. Focus on the literature supplement and discuss a few of representative newspaper supplement. Then investigate the representative writers by their styles. As the complexity of the discussing contents, by the different angle of view from H. K. to mainland as much as Taiwan literature, we could draw inconsistent conclusions on activities of those southing writers. In the literary works analysis, the writer tried to avoid simplification and mentioned some writers who are likely to be ignored.The second emphases is to discuss the literary criticism activities of those mainland writers living in Hongkong before Oct. 1949. These criticisms is a sum-up of different mainland literary views in the same time, it's aimed to advocate the view of Yanans literature. In addition, it is the significant period of China's modern literature which coming into one unit.At the end of the article, a list is provided as appendix which including important southing writers summary.
