This dissertation attempts to answer How the Wang Anshi's Theory Appeared and Developed during North Song Dynasty as one election period. In order to fulfill this task, this dissertation pays more attention to the change of his conditions, changes of his academic ideas, accumulation of knowledge, the appearance and variation of his academic theory.As for the structure, this dissertation is divided into two parts, seven chapters. There are three chapters in the first part and they are on the review of the research about Wang's academic thought. In this part, the author emphasizes that the historic study is the base for philosophic study and outlines the main idea of this dissertation: eke out the study of idea history with the study of scholar history.Disclosing the truth of Jinggong Xinxue is the first step in the author's study. This dissertation based on the new opinion of "the Three Basic Parts of Wang' s Theory" (王学三体) , divides the development of Wang's theory into three periods.- Original Form(Jinling Wangxue, 1021-1067), Authority Form(Jingong Xinxue, 1068-1076) and Senectitude Form(1077~1086). On consideration of the importance of the Original Form, this dissertation begins with the history of Jinling Wangxue, which has not been concluded with certainty in the scholar circle.Besides, as for the source of Wang's scholarships, this dissertation tries to avoid the traditional research modes, and tries to combine the three variations of environmental custom and political system and talent's quality, reemphasizes the logic connection between the changes of theory and the changes of society.Thus, in the second part, this dissertation first studies the relations between the election society and the Wang's family, and then outlines the graph of changes of Wang's early theory: from being an ambitious offical to being an Jingshi (进士) which can protect the family after the death of Wang's father.Then, this dissertation analyzed the overall perspective of Wang's friendship under the background of the "Juye" (举业) in the election society and further studies Wang's original mode of his thoughts with the requirement of "Juye" , which began with "Zixue" (字学) , connected "Juye" with "Jingxue" (经学) , from "Wen" (文) into "Dao" (道) .Further, this dissertation generalizes Wang's "edgelized" political position and the resulting development of his theory in the aspect of the operating system of bureaucrat in North Song Dynasty. Then concluded that Wang's theory experienced the change from outside to inside and especially that his academic accumulation on"the Learning of Weiji"(为己之学)with" Yixue"(易学)had based Wang's Original Form.At last, this dissertation studies Wang's political and academic action during the period 1055-1068 and finds that he had transported one new longing for" Outside King "(外王) into the former "Inside Saint" (内圣) . According to the study of Wang's scholar lecture in Nanking, this dissertation finds that " the Learning of Li-yue" (礼乐之学) developed under the shield of "the Learning of Weiji" and "the Yixue" .Thus, Jinling Wangxue, which connected "Inside Saint" with "Outside King" , appeared, and the Original Form established.
