In this thesis ,the author focus on the developing process of music education of Japan since 1872,and the research emphasize on ideology of music education ,target of education,standard of curriculum, course of education, area of teaching and etc ,which had been adopted in Japanese primary school, middle school, and normal university under the different historical stages rules after world war II and in the period of century replacement . The author also discuss the relationships and the process , development, rule between theory and practice. At last, from different view of history and era of 21st century, Finally the author summarized gain and loss and regular patterns of Japanese music education to provide the basis and reference for our coutry's music education.According to the developing rule of Japanese music education and the method which provided by professor yanyezhengxiong .The developing process of Japanese school music education can be divided into four parts:1. The buding period of singing education (1872-1907)2. The establishing period of sing education(1907-1947)3. The developing period of school education of music (1947-1989)4. The flourishing period of school education of music (1989-now)Facing the 21th century, and under the background ofeconomy , technology globalized , multicultralism , information age , Japan emended the standard of curriculum twice in year of 1989 and 1999 , it makes Japanese music education get into their blooming stage.
