The Book of Songs is the first anthology in China, and it is one of the most important cultural and creative works. The research about The Book of Songs is too complex to attain some agreement in its study history. But the research and expatiation formed a characteristic scholarship about The Book of Songs, which contains the various realms such as the history realm. The affirmance about different text characters of The Book of Songs becomes a reciprocal condition or relationship with the research modes and characters. The text and scholarship about The Book of Songs that are evidences for Intellectual History result from the affirmance about their history function and property. There were not more instructive attempts and elicitation about The Book of Songs until Wu-Si. In contrast, because of asserting The Book of Songs literary works and being in the center of literary criticism, the research in the study realm of Intellectual History can not be attached adequate importance to.The paper try to explore the inherence between the scholarly phenomena and Lixue with regard to The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty, which initiated so new a field that it was not limited by traditional views. So the paper is named with The Scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty and Lixue — The Review of the Scholarship about The Book of Songs in Thought-Scholarism History. The factors of Lixue and thought are divided and emerged by degrees, based on reviewing and inducing about numerous and complicated scholarship of scholars. This study has two aspects possible that some questions not to be resolved in literary realm can be make clear and that the research realm and reference scope in thought-scholarism history can be extended, which mean the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty is the object to study in History of Thought.The paper is divided into three parts including introduction, the main body of the paper and conclusion.The introduction is to resolve the possibility, history, current research and method of the scholarship about The Book of Songs in thought-scholarism history. The main body of the paper comprises nine chapters that compose two parts. The first part is one to four chapter, and the second part is five to nine chapter. They appear to form the intersection but every one has its emphases. The first part dips into the relation between academic origin, viewpoint of values, method to explain literatures and Lixue, which deal with four problem. The first is the correlative conceptions, research reference and successive phases concerning the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty. The second is the thought-scholarism cause by textual research how to evolve in the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty, involved in connection with the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Han-Tang Dynasty, Sanjiashi and Four Books. The third is the essential viewpoint of scholars in Song Dynasty on The Book of Songs, which includes their knowledge that The Book of Songs was to narrate the Dao of Confucianism (Neo-Confucianism), and that it is very complex to how to treat with Shixu and Yinshi. The fourth is the theory of two methods and Lixue, they are "exploring meaning based on text" and "judging the feeling depended on live life" that dominated the new scholarship about The Book of Songs throughout Song Dynasty on the whole. Every problem illustrates its historical development such as the inheritance and prolongation of academic viewpoint, as gives prominence to technicality that do not neglect ideology, therefore this part and next part are the supplement each other, whichredounds to discussing with focus on thinking issues in the second part comparatively. The second part researches into the thought factor involved in the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty, as is arranged with historical term that appears a series structure of case study. This part is based on such a reference of the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty that some academic problem about Lixue will be involved in and probed into, which will deepen the first part. The second part characterize gradually the clarity and variety of explaining The Book of -Songs by Yili, the key person being concerned such as Ou-yang Xiu, Su Zhe, Wang An-shi, Zhang * Zai. Cheng Hao, Cheng Yi, Xie Liang-zuo, Yang Shi, Zhu Xi, Lu Jiu-yuan, Lv Zu-qian, Wang Bo , and the other such as Cheng Da-chang, Wang Zhi, Ye Shi, Chen Liang, Dai Xi, Xie Fang-de and so on. The conclusion is to sum up the whole disquisition.The paper breaks away from not only the antinomic analysis between Zunxu and Feixu but also the three stages to illuminate. There are five stages of the scholarship about the Book of Songs in Song Dynasty based on the development of history and Lixue.The literature to effect the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty is Shibenyi written by Ou-yang Xiu, which had dipped into some questions of Lixue. Su Zhe succeeded to Cheng Bo-yu in Tang Dynasty, his academic declaration had deep influence on the scholarship about The Book of Songs. Ou-yang Xiu and Su Zhe had creative contributions to academic methods and views. In addition, the others should be paid attention to such as Liu Kai and Liu Chang. This is the first stage to prepare between the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty and Lixue. Some scholars in Song Dynasty owed the ultimate changes of Jingxue to Zhou Dun-yi,but Zhou Dun-yi had no systemic and classic research of The Book of Songs according as works to find. The scholarship about The Book of Songs that emphasize Yili in Song Dynasty began with Wang An-shi, whose study still contains the aspect of Hanxue that indicates the transition of academic research from Han to Song. The academic symbol is to analyze The Book of Songs by simple antitheses method in order to demonstrate Yili such as Tian-Ren, Yin-Yang, Chang-Bian and De-Ren, which affected Cai Bian(the scholastic of Wang An-shi) the research of natural history about The Book of Songs. With Wang An-shi dividing Dao into Tiandao and Rendao, the viewpoint and thinking mode were criticized by Er-Cheng, Zhang Zai and so on. Zhang Zai and Er-Cheng gave their more attention to Xinxing in research of The Book of Songs. With Four Books honored by them, the research of Four Books came into being gradually and worked on the scholarship about The Book of Songs in thought. This is the second stage of the method of explaining The Book of Songs by Yili to establish. The research of the scholastic of Er-Cheng such as Xie Liang-zuo and Yang Shi embodied that the connection between the scholarship about The Book of Songs and Lixue had been strengthening in the middle of Northern Song and Southern Song. This is the third stage to link up. Rebuking Xu of Zheng Qiao resulted in abolishing Xu of Zhu Xi in his final research. Four Books has formed so that it became an academic base to expatiate upon the Confucian literature, called the source of Yili. As the excellent Scholar of Lixue and the scholarship about The Book of Songs, Zhu Xi inclined to digest doctrines from different scholar in Han-Tang and Song. There are difference in the knowledge about Xin in Zhu school and Lu school, including the theory of noumenon, the way of learning and the character of school. Therefore, the theory of Li and the theory of Xin were reflected on the scholarship about The Book of Songs of Zhu and Lu. Lu Jiu-yuan, Yang Jian and Yuan Xie were representative of research of The Book of Songs based on the theory of Xin. Lv Zu-qian who tried to conciliate the learning of Zhu and Lu took on character of digesting doctrines from differentScholar, and his scholarship about The Book of Songs was put importance on in Southern Song Dynasty. This is the fourth stage to rectify and achieve. Wang Bo who was affected by Zhu Xi thought to bowdlerize The Book of Songs. At the same time, the research of The Book of Songs by Yili became inanimate gradually, for example, Wang Ying-lin had touched upon gathering the lost and historical geography about The Book of Songs besides that research, as means that the diversification of research of The Book of Songs had become evident and the research of The Book of Songs based on Lixue had become declining. It was popular "regarding poems as poems" or "reading poetry as poetry", which can ascend to "exploring meaning based on text" of Ou-yang Xiu. Furthermore, this opinion is to think much of the text of The Book of Songs more than to conciliate all kinds of complicate explaining, which led to the works such as Maoshixuantan and the words such as "the best is nothing to say". This is the fifth stage to decline in research of The ' Book of Songs by Yili and incline to academic authority of Shijizhuan. Shijizhuan dominated the research of The Book of Songs in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty, in which Yili had been insufficient creation except for Wang Fu-zhi and so on. In Ming and Qing dynasty, "The School of Independent Thinking" turned their steps to literary appreciation more than Yili study.In the paper there are many academic question involved in thought to contest and discuss besides reviewing the relations between research modes, academic views in the scholarship about The Book of Songs and Lixue in Song Dynasty. They concentrate on nine tables that one table used for reference comes from the other, which dip into the character and importance of the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty, two methods to explain The Book of Songs in Shibenyi, the comparisons of Ou-yang Xiu's academic attitude how to deal with Shixu, Maozhuan and Zhengjian, the knowledge of Shijie being no mixed opinion, the relation between Shijizhuan and Shixu, the poem name and academic cause to change in bowdlerizing list of Shiyi and so on.Based on the review of the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty in thought-scholarism history, Lixuehua is inadequate to generalize the knowledge of the relations between the scholarship about The Book of Songs and Lixue in Song Dynasty. Beginning with Ou-yang Xiu, The Book of Songs is considered as not only literary and lingual works but also the way to embody Dao, which is the cause of the scholars in Song Dynasty from discrediting Zheng, Mao and Xu to ridding poems of Xu, from discrediting literature to bowdlerizing literature in addition to the views of songs and Yinshi, even including new aspects of the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty and academic viewpoints that are not behind the times today. Although, not every poem was endued with Dao by every scholar, it is a character of the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Song Dynasty to grasp the truth of Xinxing, Renlun and Tian-Ren through appreciating. At a certain extent, the scholarship about The Book of Songs in Wu-Si and the present age is an echo and advance of the thought trend to discredit literature and of the way to annotate literature in Song Dynasty.The paper involves more thought and academic problems. Short of reference in the scholarship about The Book of Songs, the research of the middle of Northern Song and Southern Song is simple and weak, many a question is worth studying and deepening. Moreover, the importance is attached to the review of the scholarship about The Book of Songs in thought-scholarism history that is historical and logical.
