The painting with fine brushwork of beautiful women in Tang Dynasty is one of the models of traditional figure paintings in the art history, their development and evolution have close relations with the traditional artistic theory of "Six Principles ", and the stroke and color of that type of paintings are formative factors of their particular feature. The dissertation inquiries into the original roles of stroke and color in the history of beautiful women paintings in Tang Dynasty in viewpoints of techniques and ideas, and points out that the theory of stroke and color was their artistic ideas while the warm and leisured quality was the color standard that they followed secretly, and based on these the author expects to get deep understanding of the origin of the paintings with beautiful women, the theory of "Six Principles "as well as Chinese traditional doctrin of painting , and to use them for reference .
