On Lineage Relations' Documents And Files Of Huizhou In Ming-Qing Dynasties

Ancient Huizhou Documents and Files,is publicly considered as the fifth new discovery in original historical research materials since the discoveries of Jiaguwen (inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells of the Shang Dynasty),Jianbo of Han-jin Dynasties(inscriptions on bamboo slips or books copied on silks),Dunhuang Books and Records,as well as Official Archives of Ming-Qing Dynasties. As far as the quantity,category and study value are concerned,Lineage Documents and Files,as the main part of Ancient Huizhou Documents and Files,are typically significant for us to recognize Ancient Huizhou Documents and Files as a whole,thereby studying the social life at that time in Ancient Huizhou of Ming-Qing Dynasties, especially robing into the later history of Chinese Feudal Society. This thesis will center on documents and files reflecting Huizhou lineage relations in Ming-Qing Dynasties.In this thesis,I'll employ documental archives and historical records in my study.I'll make clear of the form and interpret the content,so that we can understand all kinds of intrinsic lineage relations in Huizhou at that time,thereby further investigating the difference between national rules and clan regulations and the practice in the civil society.This thesis has four main parts.In the first and second parts,I'll make a general study of Huizhou Lineage Documents and Files from a philological viewpoint,while in the third and fourth parts, I'll make detailed interpretations of all sorts of social relations reflected in Huizhou Lienage Documents and Files,from historical and sociological viewpoints.In the first part of the thesisj'll probe into the forming,legacies and patterns of Huizhou Lineage Documents and Files in Ming-Qing Dynasties.
