The Polyphony Technique Of Krzysztof Pendereckis' Early Works

The article mainly discuss the polyphony technical of Pendereckis' early works. During the first stage of 20^th century,in the trend of gradually breaking up of functional system of harmony, polyphony music gradually become the important organize power in music of 20th.Chapter 1 means to be a general introduction of the characteristics of Penderecki's music. Great changes have taken place in post-war western politics,economy,culture,and art,these changes have also found their reflection in the works of Penderecki.Chapter2 and 3 is the most important.Chapter2 "acoustics counterpoint".depending on the research and analysis of these early works ,the author devide the composer's music texture in two kinds: strip shape cluster,and dense tone texture. Then, author discuss the counterpoint technique belong to the two kinds of texture. The combination of counterpoint and acoustics , came to the new counterpoint technique ,such as ,the contrast of texture thickness,direction, rhythm shape, etc.Chapter3, "the texture canon" .From the angle of traditional canon technique, Penderecki likes to use non- strict canon. He derive the organize power of canon but abandon the constraint of strict canon. Moreover, the combination of canon and acoustics, produce a series of new canon ,such as canon of perform manner, dynamics canon , timbre canon and so on. Beside these, author emphasize the canon of texture organization process. Chapter 4,discussing the new characteristics of polyphony form used in Pendereckis' early works. Chapter5 is a new research based on the other chapters.It's about these works' structure. In Pendereckis' early works, texture become the foundation of form construction. From the overall observation of texture expand,the author further discover the acoustics energy guide the expand of texture . acoustics energy become the thought of form construction.
