Based on the early Tao School's relative thoughts, the Taoist views on the nature are religious thoughts about the universe, the life itself, and the relations between the heaven and the human beings. It is an aggregative view including the characteristics of the nature and the society. The early Tao School's main thought on the nature is that Tao follows the nature. That means Tao is just itself, and has no regulations. So the Taoist views on the nature emphasize that the nature is the essence and the rule of the universe, as the Taoist Sutra says -the nature is the base of Tao. The Taoist views on the nature are systematic epistemonogy based on the essential Tao. The dissertation has two parts (the preface and the body of four sections), with 15 chapters. It systematically introduces the basic matters and characteristics, and tries to bring forth the profound idea of Taoist views on the nature.The preface mainly has three parts. The first is the basic matters and characteristics of the Taoist views on the nature. The word NATURE in Taoism is the essence and inner foundation of everything, and is the principle and rule of the things' movements and changes. The Taoist views on the nature have many characteristics, such as with a complete system, having the possibility to be testified by people's deeds, etc. The second part is about the development of the Taoist views on the nature. The development can be summarized as three important stages. The first stage is the incunabular thoughts on the nature.
