Thoughts Of Confucius Development In The Past Thirty Years

This thesis is about the thoughts of Confucius development in the past thirty years .This thesis is composed of three chapters .The first chapter is about the Confucius development in the late 1970s and 1980s. There were thoughts of Confucius re-appraisal in 1978. Though Confucianism obtained fair evaluation at that time, the main aspects were Liberalism, Enlightenism, complete Westernization and so on. So there were scholars who tried to explore the advantages of Confucianism, like zhang Dainian's cultural idea of "comprehensive innovation", Du Weiming's "the third period prospect of Confucius", Yu Ying-shih's study on Confucian ethics and capitalistic spirit, and Jin Yaoji's study on the relationship between Confucian ethics and the economy of HongKong.The second chapter is about the Confucius development in 1990's. Along with the development of China, the ken of science was opened widely. Reflected on the academic researching, there were Wang Jiahua's study on the existence of Confucianism in modern society, Zhang Liwen's study on Hehe philosophy. And the East Asia financial crisis made the Confucianism a world-famous topic.The third chapter is about the Confucius development in the 21st century. The Reading Classics Activity reflects the attitude towards the relationship between tradition and modernization. And the scholars who devote themselves to establishing a Hermeneutics of Chinese Confucianism try to analyze the existence of Confucianism in the context of globalization in a unique way.
