Modern Collection Of Fu Xiang Study

This doctoral dissertation studies Fu Zeng-xiang, a great scholar of classical documentary science who began his collection and study of Chinese various valuable documents in ancient from 1911.As a great cultured mind, Fu Zeng-xiang Influences a lot on the development of modern Chinese education, library, preservation of cultural relics, Chinese calligraphy and painting and so on. But first of all, Fu Zeng-xiang is one of the greatest collectors of Chinese various valuable ancient documents of Minguo Period. When Fu began his collection, some cultural robbers from foreign countries come for Chinese various valuable documents in ancient times with force and money. Meanwhile many Chines warlords, businessmen, bank operators, public library managers also became interested in those documents, they were all with much more money than Fu. Yet still the great private collecter Fu achieved more than any of them, all because of his knowledge of textual criticism, classical documentary science, critical interpretation of ancient tests and his knowing wellof Chinese history of block printing and collection of books.My doctoral dissertation focuses on the above differences between Fu and the other collectors of Chinese various valuable ancient documents, and is divided into four sections. The first section is a general introduction about Fu's family and life. The second section is about Fu's private biblitheca from expansion to collapse, his ways of collecting and so on. The third section discusses Fu's study on his achieved documents. The forth and the last section is about Fu's contribution on printing Chinese various valuable documents in ancient. By those four sectins I want to tell peple that Fu was a great collector that nobody can compare with of his time.
