East Qin And Han Period Traveling Buried

The institution of burial with chariot and horse is one of the important burial institutions of funeral culture in ancient China. With lots of relics of chariot and horse, the horse-drawn vehicles and chariot and horses appliances have been discovered during recent years, the study of the institution has been given more and more attention by the fields of both history and archaeology. Meanwhile, those new materials also make the study possible. The thesis mainly makes a systematic study of the burial relics of chariot and horse, found in our country up to now, belonging to Easten Zhou, Qin and Han dynasties. Based on previous studies, combined with literature materials and using typological methods we carried on the pattern analysis and thoroughly discussed on the correlation questions.The first chapter, the introduction, has cleaned up the correlation concept, reviewed the present situation on correlation questions. In particular, we expounded the existing questions, the writing method and the materials used in this thesis.In the second chapter, we arranged the discovered relics of chariot and horse which belong to Easten Zhou, Qin and Han dynasties for a comprehensive understanding on their range and quantity in order to make it more advantageous to following analysis and the research.In the third chapter, classification and stages study were carried on those relics of chariot and horse. In the foundation of that, we discussed their evolution, dissemination and burying rules and so on questions.The excavated relics were classified by archaeological method and the evolution rules of the chariots and horses discovered belonging to Easten Zhou, Qin and Han dynasties were discussed in the fourth chapter.In the fifth chapter we took the archaeological typology as the foundation, carried on the pattern division to the chariot and horse appliances and made the crosswise and the longitudinal comparison tending to establish the evolution range from Eastern Zhou dynasty to Qin and Han Dynasty, which was in order to provide evidences to the archaeological arrangement of the stages of that time.The sixth chapter, the conclusion, combined with traditional and unearthed literature materials we classified and analyzed the discovered relics of chariot and horse of Eastern Zhou dynasty .Then we presented our opinions on their source.
