With the construction of a key water control project in San-Xia, Archaeological investigation and excavation with an unprecedented scale have been caught out in recent 10 years. Archaeological data which was published in the early stage of 21century has made the mysterious veil be revealed gradually. This text has make an explicit study on the Archaeological cultures of Xia and Shang Dynasty in the Xia Jiang Region with Archaeological data which has been published .This paper has 6 parts:The preface. In this part, the range of space-time and the the general situation of the geographical features of Xia Jiang are introduced; The brief history of the Archaeological cultures of Xia and Shang Dynasty in the Xia Jiang Region is introduced; the aim and value of this text Is introducedChapter 1: The classification of the remains in the Xia Jiang Region in Xia and Shang Dynasty .According to the data available and the understanding of academic circles, the author has a detailed study through classification on the remains in the Xia Jiang Region in Xia and Shang Dynasty. The remains:Zhong-Ba culture in the time of Zhong-Ba; Bai-Miao culture, the remains of Tiao-Shi and the 7th layer of Zhong-Bao-island.; Chao-Tian-Zui culture in the time of Chao-Tian-Zui; The remains of Zhong-Ba-Zi and Nan-Yuan, and the culture remains in Xia and Shang Dynasty in Pei-Shi; The culture of Lu-Jia in the time of Lu-Jia ,and the culture of Shi-Chi-Ba. By this, the author has an analysis on the culture authority of every remain.Chapter 2:Installments and ages of the Archaeological culture (or remains) in the Xia Jiang Region in Xia and Shang Dynasty. This part makes a study of all kinds of remains which have much data through classification and exploration of the relation of age of the same remains. At the same time, this part makes a judgment of the age of all the remains in the Xia Jiang Region with the archaeological achievements of the Central Plains and Chengdu Plains.Chapter 3:The genealogical analysis of archaeological remains in the Xia Jiang region. This part makes an analysis on the culture factors of all kinds of archaeological remains in the Xia Jiang region. With the data, this part will make a study on the specific weight of some remains. Besides, this part will find the causes of the culture factors of the remains in the Xia Jiang region in Xia and Shang Dynasty.Chapter 4: Economy and clan of the archaeological culture in the Xia Jiang Region in Xia and Shang Dynasty. This part mainly makes a discussion on the issues of social economy and clan. The economy of hunting and fishing has an important status in the social economy in the Xia Jiang region in Xia and Shang Dynasty. We divide the economy into two parts according to the data of animal bones——hunting economy and fishing economy. For the data of agricultural economy is absent, few people paid attention to it, the paper elaborate the agricultural economy of the Xia Jiang region.With Archaeological data, scholars often link the archaeological culture of the Xia Jiang rigion with early stages Ba culture(or Ba people). After analyzing the relation of the archaeological culture in the Xia Jiang Region in Xia and Shang Dynasty and the Archaeological culture around.,the author think that although the theory of the relation of culture of Lu Jia He and early stages Ba culture may be right, but it is still skeptical. In this part, some problems of early Ba culture which should be solved in a short time are brought up.Conclusion:The author make a conclusion of the text and bring up some problems of the study on the Archaeological culture (or remains) in the Xia Jiang Region in Xia and Shang Dynasty.
