Tibetan Thangka Painting Style

With advancement of Tibetan Art Studies, Thangkas business and research have become critical work. In research environment that our country' s Tibetan Art Studies on a starting step, Thangka' s research resources are representing the characteristics of distribution and loose. This paper focuses-on how to description and develop a path which can satify the description words in the Thangka works. There are two main aspects in the content:Firstly, this thesis introduces the 7-19 century' s Tibetan, including: Tibetan history, Tibetan art history, artists, Tibetan art literatures.Secondly, based on particular description and analysis of Tibetan literatures, the author made a detailed and comprehensive description and analysis, including the art style sends, the art style founder, the art style send' s inheritance, the art style send' s representative works.This paper takes the research object from typical representative works, describes different time, different region' s Thangka style sends, clarify the Thangkas in detail. The Thangka' s style in this article is concise, easy to realize and extend.
