At first, by analyzing the whole need of the industrial and commercial society, that is it aimed at commercial gain, I will summarize that on the basis of the social life, broadcasting had the feature that it paid attention to the interaction between itself with the economic life, in order to show its feature that it separated from social life's field and specialized; On the basis of the urge need of national salvation, the orientation of the broadcasting began to transform itself to social mobilization. By analyzing the interaction between broadcasting with the two completely different needs in the social life, I will concretely point out when meeting the two subjects of times-modernization and national salvation-- Shanghai's broadcasting displayed its character of the times, flexibly adjusting its mechanism.
