Research On "the Outhodoxexposition Of The Zuozhuan On The Chunqiu"

"The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" is one of "The Outhodox Exposition of the Five Confucian Classics" which were compiled mainly by Kong Yingda.It has a high place in the history of Confucian classics and the intellectual history which embodied the characteristics of the inclusive interpretation and exposition in Tang Dynasty.However,there is lack of the monographic and systemic study on this classic in the acadamie circles with different evaluations.On the philological and herrneneutic side,the thesis tried to objectively and exactly evaluate Kong Yingda and his work of "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" with the comprehensive conclusion of its characteristics by list statistics and comparative discriminance.To begin with the set out Kong Yingda's life and his works,this part focused on the problem of "Zi"(The ancient Chinese styled himself another name with some private reasons)and "Hao"(The ancient Chinese styled himself another name with some private reasons)of Kong Yingda,the problem of "The Commentary of 'the Picture of Eighteen scholars'" and the problem of Ming's "Chunqiu Biography" and so on,based on the contradictory comments in the "Xin Tang Shu-Kong Yingda's Biography" and "Jiu Tang Shu.Kong Yingda's Biography".This could show the awkward status and the study enviroment of Kong Yingda and his "The Outhodox Exposition of the Five Confucian Classics".The next part analyzed the personal "preparations" of Kong Yingda for his work "The Outhodox Exposition of the Five Confucian Classics",including the academic preparation through the imperial examination and the work to teach the Confucian classcics,debate and edit books.He also had many different works left to us refering the literary,the history and the Confucian classics.After that,the thesis researched into the writing conditions of "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu":the social condition of the prevalent Confucianism and the text condition of Yan Shigu's literal conclusion and Lu Mingde's "The Annotation of Classics".Combining the analysis above with "The Preface of The Outhodox Exposition of the Five Confucian Classics" and some historical records,the author deduced the namelist of writers and the exact writing period of "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" and run through the different editions of it.Then,with the comprehensive analysis of the Du's Interpretation,it is clear that,in "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" the exposition does not break the interpretation.Then the thesis began to analyze the characteristics of"The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" from three aspects as literary interpretation,historiography interpretation and linguistic interpretation.The literary interpretation aspect just illustated the methods of interpretation, specificly to similize interpretations by the classics,by historical materials,by biographies,by "The Biography of Gongyang" and "The Biography of Guliang" and by former annotation.For the literary critics,"The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" tried to state it from language and content,emotion and thought and the litarary style,which inspied us so much."The idea of essay" in "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" could be manifested by its attention of the writing structure,the language expression and the use of rhyme.The background of the historiography interpretation in "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" was "The Chunqiu" and "The Zuo Zhuan" had been recognized as historical books in Tang Dynasty.With this idea,it had been indicating many mistakes in "Records of the Historian" to show the respect of "historical facts".The purpose of "to interprete the classics by historical facts" was to enforce the cultivaiton with four aspects of the idea of promotion,filial and love,the idea of promotion,loyalty,good faith,morality and righteousness,consecration and meritocracy.The linguistic interpretation in "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" mainly summarized the specific examples of the interpretations of word and sentence,which set up the important links of the interpretation system in it.The interpretation of single word used the mathods by pronunciation,graphemic and meaning from the linguistic dimension and the historical dimension.To interpretate a sentence was to analyze the rhetoric and the logic of contexts.The citation materials in "The outhodox exposition of the Zuozhuan on the Chunqiu" reflated the thoughts of the interpretators from another side.The author gave a commentary summary of the citation materials in "The
