This dissertation is a study of the evolution of the United States Grand Strategy in World Warâ…¡and of the important strategic position of China Anti-Japanese Theater for this strategy in the war.The generous purpose of author is to wrestle anew with the wartime strategic relationships between China and the United States and also try to reveal the active principal aspect of the relations of these two countries in the history of Great Anti-Fascists War by approaching on the courses of American "Germany First,Japan Second" strategy.The dissertation divides "The United States Grand Strategy and China Anti-Japanese Theater" into four phases:1,The making of United States Grand Strategy and China Anti-Japanese Theater, from "ABC-1" of the spring of 1941 to PEARL HARBOR in the end of 1941.2,The adjustment of the United States Grand Strategy and China Anti-Japanese Theater, from the outbreak of Pacific War in December of 1941 to TORCH in November of 1942.3,The implement of the United States Grand Strategy and China Anti-Japanese Theater, from CASABLANKA in January of 1943 to CAIRO-TEHRAN in November-December of 1943.4,The fulfillment of the United States Grand Strategy and China Anti-Japanese Theater, from the preparation and open of European SECOND FRONT in June of 1944 to YALTA in the spring of 1945.In conclusion,the author thought:the strategic relationships of China and the United States in the wartime were interdependence and support each other.The United States did its best to aid China,also China devoted itself to the American Grand Strategy and endured to the end of war.China Anti-Japanese Theater was a prerequiste to American Grand Strtegy.Both of the two nations made great contribution towards the Great AntiFascists War.Today,the peoples and leaders of China and the United States should keep firmly the historic lessons of Second World War in mind and common do everything in our ability to build closer cooperative and friendly relations between two countries in the new century for the light future of human peace.
