Grid is a network computing technology developed rapidly recent years that can share geographically distributed resources as they pursue common goals—in the absence of central control, omniscience, trust relationships. Just as Internet achieves the connectivity of hardware resources of computers, Grid makes it possible to totally share the resources, including calculating resources, storage resources, data resources, information resources, knowledge resources and software resources by means of connecting the computers located at different places to a virtue supercomputer. With the development of Open Grid Services Architecture(OGSA) and Web Services Resources Framework(WSRF), Grid has extended to the field of information sharing characterized as distributed system integration from sharing calculation in the field of science and technology. Taking advantage of the thoughts of grid services, OGSA turns various grid resources into grid services and shields the heterogeneous nature of grid resources by sharing interface supplied by a unified entity. For the past few years, WSRF and Web services, along with stateful resources have provided an ideal technique platform for the efficient management of grid resources. At present, the country is facing the economic and social changes, which makes the task of innovation-oriented cultural construction more and more important. The possession, distribution of cultural information resources as well as the using type, especially their sharing level have become the key factor for the advancedness or backwardness of science and technology, the rise or fall of the nation.Just under such a background, after analyzing the current actuality of development of grid technology and sharing applications, the author lays a great emphases on the research theory and methods, sharing mechanism and its support under grid environment from the aspects of technologies, economics and humanities. The article includes 8 chapters and the details are as follows: In the first chapter, the author mainly introduces the research technology, projects, and trends of grid, and then gives the research thoughts, methods, goals and significance, described the contents and establishes a research framework as well as the innovation of the paper. In the next chapter, on the base of introducing related definitions of grid and cultural information resource sharing, the author analyzes the key support technology and environment architecture in details including Web Services, Open Grid Services Architecture(OGSA) and Web Services Resources Framework(WSRF), semantic grid and Globus Grid Resource Management systems, which lays a foundation for the following research. In the third chapter, the author mainly discusses the issues related to cultural information resources of grid. In view of the connotation and features of cultural information resources of grid, she analyzes the concept, relationship and property of Virtual Organization, and sets up a service model for cultural information resources between Virtual Organization. The author emphases on discussing metadata-based and ontology-based grid resource management and puts forward the solutions of metadata interoperability, core grid ontology and applied ontology design model. In addition, she probes into ontology-based global schema information integration strategies, and designs for an architecture mode for grid information integration. In the following chapter, the author lays a great emphasis on the research theory and methods to implement cultural information resource sharing. She studies the structure of cultural information resource sharing based on OGSA, and analyzes grid encapsulation, unified resources registrations and distribution, and builds up a semantic metadata management architecture and a service model for grid resources sharing. And a dynamic role-based access control model is also designed and the safe strategies of cultural information resources are put forward. The fifth chapter studies reasonable resource allocation model based on microeconomic theory. Taking advantage of Game theory, Nash Equilibria of Bayes and consulting grid resource transaction model, the author studies the price strategy of grid resources and the algorithm for dynamic allocation. Meanwhile in consideration of the user's needs and condition of system resource, a management architecture of open grid market resources is given to achieve the equilibrious and efficient using of grid resources. From the aspects of technologies and humanities, the author discusses the sharing mechanism and application as well as Guarantee System. First, an architecture model of cultural information sharing platform is set up in accordance with OGSA(Open Grid Services Architecture),and grid resource dynamic allocation model based on Qos are designed by using workflow technology. And then from the angle of humanities, the author discusses the goals and principles, organizations, sharing standards and Guarantee System for sharing policy further, and puts forward a sharing system of culture information resources with macro-guidance through governments and micro-adjustment from market, and gives some advices and proposals on promoting cultural information resource sharing. The seventh chapter sees some successful cases such as UK e-Science information model, and its service framework. The author conducts a case study for grid data integration, semantic sharing service, resource marketing management and sharing information platform with the cases such as Edikt,FEARLUE-G,FEARLUS-G,BI for reference. In the conclusion part, the author summarizes the whole research and gives her future research direction.
