Nowadays, we are facing an ecology crisis. Facing a living perplexes and problem of mankind's spirit became perplexity, people understand that this is problem of rootstock about the development of mankind's spirit morality and culture by means of reflect on deep springhead of problem in the philosophy. When construed change and development of the western ethics in 20 centuries, we can elicit distinctive position of ecology ethics. It corroborates value rationality know from traditionary ethical spirit, namely value rationality about ecology ethical spirit, in order to newly found mankind's moral idea, that try to attain to ethical viewpoint of mankind's moral principles reconfiguration. This supplies valid method and scheme with being to understand and the settlement ecology crisis problem.This paper doesn't try to find value rationality about ecology ethical spirit, but to dispose how the holimism route will promulgate ecology ethics to the fringe may construct is formed along with how to construct the problem forming. The aim rests with methodology in entire doctrine route direction, namely we analyse and dispose eco-holism to deepen to ecology ethics holimism route, improve to construct a method of ecology culture demand moral and value principles, which fit for mankind exist and development。This paper discusses two development paths in ecology ethic theory, based on the starting of ecology ethics, which pointed out that the eco- holism is the foundation method of the construction theory method, is the organic synthesis between the ecology and the holism. The ecology plays the role of the theory paradigm, but the holism provides method in observation and analysis question on the whole view.Based on the methodology, the eco-ethics try to establish ecological civilization among the person-society-nature. The existing and the development of the human society do not rest on the economic interest any more. This kind of ecology civilization also is accepted by postmodern. The humanity should change the existing values and ethics view, and establishes the ecology values and the ecology ethics view. This paper promulgated basic feature of eco- holism as the postmodern method.This paper includes five parts. Chaper1 to chapter 4 discuss material mater of the eco- holism on the basis of ecological exposition. The last part of this paper evaluates the status of the theory in the eco-ethics theory and its relationship with the Postmodernism.Introduction discusses, facing on the ecological crisis, how to seek method to solve the problem from different vision and formed the different theoretical trends. And then gives the distinction and definition of the relationship between the environmental ethics and eco-ethics.The chapter1 discusses that the environmental ethics is a challenge to the traditional concept of ethical and moral view based on the starting and forming of the environmental ethics, which makes the human ethic caring from human to the nature. In the process formed the human-center environmental ethics and the natural-center eco-ethics. Then from historical view, scans development theory of the environment ethics in the different time, then from two elementary theory views of eco-ethics, the biology centered principle and the ecology overall principle, and compared the relative thought. This chapter carries the explanation to the principle road and the characteristic of the basic theory. And this chapter is the foundation to study deeply eco-holism of the eco-ethics. The chapter2 analyses elementary theory method in ecology ethics, compares methods of holism to individualism united relative school's view of eco-ethics, and then pointed out the similarities and differences of two elementary paths, which prepare for proposing the basic connotation, in order to express the essence of the eco-holism. At first, based on combing the essential feature and special characteristic of the holism and the essential of the ecology, analyses the connotation of the eco-holism, namely the ecology, the integrity, the procedure and the relationship, points out the foundational status of the ecology.Then, this chapter analyzed the basic implication of the ecology– holism, pointed out the organic synthesis of the ecology and holism, based on which, the eco-holism basic principle and fundamental mode are proposed: four basic principles and three fundamental modes. Four basic principles are the whole disposition principle, the organic correlated principle, the system optimized principle, the dynamic procedural principle, and the foundational principle, whole disposition principle, is discussed especially in this chapter. Three fundamental modes are direct-emotion experience pattern, the natural value pattern and the ecology belief pattern. These patterns are manifestation form of holism in eco-holism. So eco-holism is not a single methodology, but a system composed by four methodology principles and three fundamental modesChapter3 discusses the theory source on multi-view. At first, according to the ancient Greece integrity myth, the historical development vein of the whole is discussed. And then the historical and the logical basic point of eco-holism, organic holism thoughts, are expressed, through which we can find the intrinsic uniformity.Looking from the thought mode, both theories are following the identical principle, the holism principle. Looking from the methodology and the natural cognition, both theories emphasizes experience and intuition to the natural. Except the philosophy root, the formation of the eco- holism has deep culture and scientific background. Speaking of the cultural context, in the broadest implication, the eco-holism may be regard as a description natural method, which has provided a method observed natural from integrity view.Looking from the epistemology, the modern ecology development also provides science support for the production and the development of the eco-holism. This kind of support displays in the following several aspects: First, the ecology embodiment's integrity, which has provided the science proof for the whole. Second, related ecology knowledge has provided the scientific condition. For example, the basic concept and the ecological model are conditions of development of eco-holism, especially ecological model is condition of multiple significations of eco-holism. At last, inner metaphysics signification of ecology provides new theory model to eco-holism.In chapter4, based on the relative theory of holism in ecology ethics, how direct-emotion experience pattern, the natural value pattern and the ecology belief pattern displays eco-holism through different methods are discussed. As main school, the earth ethics, natural value theory and the deep ecology display how the three patterns are applied in different views during forming the theory.Finally, in chapter5, how to explain and how to evaluate ecology ethics are discussed. At first the inner consistency of the three patterns and the eco-holism is discussed. Then the theory position of the eco-holism in ecology ethics is directed, which is displayed through how theory of the eco-holism is described in the ecology ethics, namely displays two parts, transforming of ecology and community's ecology of the theory normal form in eco-holism. At last, conclusions is obtained. As a methodology, the eco-holism not only exists in the ecology ethics, but also exists in the postmodernism world view. It is a kind of methodology of the postmodern world view.
