This disquisition is primarily focus on the Articles chronicle of the Late Tang Dynasty, excluding poesy and lyric poesy(ci). After carefully reading, comparing, pectinating and consulting the interrelated historical data, the disquisition clearly chronologizes it. On this basis, these texts also systematically arranged typical data including the important events of this period, the condition of the imperial examinations, the major experience and contact of the authors.
