Modern Northeast Opening Research

The thesis is focused on port trading in northeast China in modern history and the impact as well.Porting trading,an important event and process in modern history,is the definite result of global expansion.In modern history,port trading lied in less developed countries such as China,Japan,Tailand and Korea.Followed by capitalism aggression,semi-colonialism and semi-feudalism,China's port trading in modern history,port trading in modern history experienced a process of passive treaty-open and self-open with special features both on impact and process.Port opening played an important role in social development of modern China.The thesis is divided into the following five chapters:Introduction The main purpose of the thesis is put forward here including the present study and special features of the study.Chapter One General situation of politic,economic and society before port opening;Chapter Two Background analysis of port trading in northeast China.International development of capitalism and the complicated international relationship between countries in northeast China urged the opening of northeast China.Besides,it is necessary for China to open to the outside world in order to develop.Chapter Three General situation of port trading in northeast China including treaty opening and self-opening,which developed from one port,three ports to sixteen ports. Chapter Four Special features on quality,number,location and relation between railways and impact on society;Chapter Five Impact on politics,economy and cultural and education;The purpose for Chapter One and Chapter Five is to compare the situation before port opening and after that,illustrating the impact and role on development and progress.Chapter Two,Three and Four focused on background,process and features in order to analyze the main clue of port trading in northeast China.ConclusionCompared with other parts in China,the port trading began late.At the beginning of 20 century,more and more the self opening ports appeared.Although it was hard and special for port trading in northeast China,it affected many aspects greatly.Western developed ideas,theories, production methods,technology,management model were spread to northeast China.The gap between northeast China was narrowed and separated from feudalism.Great progress politics,economy,culture and education was made,which should be given weight in the process of modernization and progress in northeast China.
