Taking Ban Zhao as object of the research, the article reviews Ban Zhao and her literary production entirely. At present we have not found anyone who researches this problem systematically and deeply in the circles. Based on the achievement of former scholars, The author overview each side of Ban Zhao and her writings. Under the background of literature in the time of Dong Han dynasty, the author try to reveal the whole literary production of Ban Zhao and give a proper estimation of her achievement on writings. This dissertation consists of 7 parts.In the Introduction part, First of all, The author mainly introduce the purpose of choosing this subject, study range, knowledge value, study way and the revolution points. Secondly, in the forward Comment on the presented study of Ban Zhao, the author summarizes the scholars'studies on Ban Zhao and points out the achievements and deficiencies, then states the reason of writing this dissertation. The third, Having determined the connotation and extension of the"literature"of the concept in the Han Dynasty, The author define the scope of the study of this dissertation.Chapter one, The author generally researches Ban Zhao's family, lifetime, making friends in three sections. And sums up the family's traditional of ban's as family background of this dissertation; Ban Zhao's own life experiences is personal factor of this dissertation, and the Friends of Ban Zhao is social factor of this dissertation. In short, these are the basement of in-depth studies. Besides, About the time of Birth and Death of Ban Zhao, the author make sufficient evidence to correct the error of former scholars.Chapter two, three and four, Mainly use the classified method, according to the literary style of Ban Zhao, divides three chapters to systematic, analyze and summarize the literary production of Ban Zhao thoroughly, To characteristic of the creative works, the artistic style, the author carry on analysis and discussion, and summarizes carefully and comprehensively. The first part focuses on the Fu literature of Ban Zhao. The author correct the error of former scholars on Ban Zhao's works. Such as the writing time of"Dong-zheng Fu"and"Da-que fu"and correct the wrong awareness on this issue of former scholars. The second part carries on a more detailed discussion on < NV JIE >. Based on the results and through analyzing the specific work, the author push the understanding of < NV JIE > into a closer, substantial and t comprehensive direction slightly. Such as influences the later generation literature, the female study as well as the family ethics view and so on. In addition, in view of the fact that present research still obviously insufficient to the history achievement and contribution to Zhu-Shu literature of Ban Zhao, the author has carried on a preliminary induction and exploration in the fifth chapter on this aspect. Ban Zhao's literature is the specific show of her literature thought, simultaneously also permeated with the idea of Confucianism and Taoism. In this regard, the author carried out a detailed outline.Chapter five summarizes the significance of Ban Zhao in the history of women's literature in the Han dynasty. To the perspective of literary history, Based on the previous studies, take the inheritance and innovation as the research technique, Ban Zhao's literature signifies a break from the traditional women's literature in content, structure and style, bearing great significance in the history of literature.The conclusion part sums up the characteristic and the significance of Ban Zhao's literary production, the author thought that her literary production unfolds the Eastern Han Dynasty society by feminine unique angle of view and the way of expression, has enriched the Han Dynasty literature style and the color, therefore has the unreplaceable important value in the history of literature.Ban Zhao's chronicle and Zhu-Shu Literature are roundly settled, detailed examined and corrected in the appendices of the dissertation. The appendices revise some mistakes in other's research, and compile a lot of evaluative information about Ban Zhao. This part is not only a supplement for the full text of the main contents, and also restores the historical truth.
