Zengding ZhongZhouQuanYun (《增订ä¸å·žå…¨éŸµã€‹) which was completed byZhou'ang (周昂) in the period Ming Dynasty.The book is one metrical work of theseries of Zhongyuan Yinyun (《ä¸åŽŸéŸ³éŸµã€‹)and has similar form with ZhongyuanYinyun (《ä¸åŽŸéŸ³éŸµã€‹).It contains 22 rhythm groups and the four tones can be dividedinto eight tones.Specially the rising tune combine to negative and positive.The author wrote this book refering to many rhyme books as main source,likeZhongyuanYinyun,Zhongyuan Yayin(《ä¸åŽŸé›…音》),Zhongzhou Yinyun (《ä¸å·žéŸ³éŸµã€‹) ,ZhongzhouQuanyun (《ä¸å·žå…¨éŸµã€‹).However,there isn't any paper or book which can make full research of it.ThePresent scholars give a little discussion to the Problems about this book.ZhongZhouQuanYun.So with the use of internal dialectic and other means,mythesis,made of 5 chapters,is going to make a detail research and deals with theheritage relationship of Zengding ZhongZhouQuanYun and other Phonology books atthe same time,in order to arouse much attention and lay a solid foundation for futurestudy.The paper comes to research the phonological system reflected in ZengdingZhongZhouQuanYun using the methods of Fanqie comparison,inneranalysis,documents validation and phonetic analysis.The whole essay consists of the following six parts.The first part is about the author and the book,suggests doing a systematicresearch towards this work by introducing the Present study and the ideas and waysabout how to research.Some mistakes are not avoided,We got some mistake and atlast correeted all of them.The seeond part to the forth part discusses the Phonetie system of ZengdingZhongZhouQuanYun.We analyze its system from three aspects:the initial,the final,the intonation.The results are as follows:There are 32 consonants in Zengding ZhongZhouQuanYun in all.The main characteristics are:reserving all the dark consonants,and the light phenomena inmixing light and dark consonants;Fei (éž) and Fu (æ•·) combining together into Fei,Feng (奉) and Wei (å¾®) separated;zero consonant improved;Xiao (æš) and Xia(匣) ,Ni (æ³¥) and Niang (娘) mixed;Zhi (知) ,Zhuang (莊) and Zhang (ç« )put into Zhao (ç…§) ;the mixing phenomena of Group Zhuang (庄組) and Group Jing(精組) appearing,especially in Group Zhuang;Chuan (船) and Chan(禪) mixingpartly;Cong (從) and Chan (禪) and Ri (æ—¥) mixing partially;and other mixingphenomena.There are 22 rhythm groups and 44 rhythms.The characteristics are as follows:After the inhale of pronouncing Cuo (æ’®å£å‘¼) there appear four inhales.-m endpart is disperse and preposition tone-i-appeared in the second open alveolar andglottal tones,and combined with the third and fourth rink,other consonants in thesecond rank distinct with different vowel,and other mixing phenomena.For consonants are classified as clear and dark the four tones can be divided intoeight tones.The voiced rising tone has turned into falling-rising tone partially,butmost remains unchanged.There are also mixing phenomena.Through comparison the relationship between Zengding ZhongZhouQuanYunand YinyunJiyao(《音韵辑è¦ã€‹),Zhongzhou Quanyun (《ä¸å·žå…¨éŸµã€‹),YunxueLizhu(《韵å¦éªŠç 》)etc.I try to Probe into the lesson drawn by ZengdingZhongZhouQuanYun from the Previous Phonology books thus to summarize thedeveloping Process of Phonology books of Qing Dynasty.After discussing Wu dialect and phonological phenomena in ZengdingZhongZhouQuanYun,we believe that the rhythms appearing in ZengdingZhongZhouQuanYun is the innovation of Southern Chinese opera Rhythm in newstage,and it is also inflected by the dialects at that time,which embodied thecharacteristics of Wu dialect (å³æ–¹è¨€) .
