Lu Wen Study

Lv Wen was a progressive litterateur,plitician andthinker in mid Tang dynasty.He was born in 772 A.D and diedin 811 A.D.Although he only lived for 40 years,yet he gotgreat achievement.Due to the low evaluation in history recordand little importance attached to him in books about literaryhistory,Lv Wen was regarded of no importance in studies ofliterary in Tang dynasty,and there was seldom discourses orbooks about him.Therefore,it is very essential to give Lv Wena all-around and systemic study.Based on his life,his thoughts,his writings and hisintercourse with others,this dissertation give Lv Wen ageneral and systemic cleaning up and study.As for his life,theformer scholars'opinions varies,through careful work on therelevant literature,the author gives a analysis of Lv Wen'sextraction,his native place and the place he usuallylived.Based on this,we can regard Lv Wen's whole life as fourperiods:before as an officer;as an officer in court;be senton a diplomatic mission to Tubo;as an officer in regions.Asfor friendship connection,based on the four stages of hislife,the author makes a discussion of the staff,and friendsof Lv Wen,and the connecting influence on Lv Wen's literarythinking.As for Lv Wen's thoughts,there are mostly twoaspects:political thinking and literary thinking.Lv Wen'spolitical ideology will be summarized as follows:the kingneeds to stick to pure Zhi Chong De,people-oriented,Xianliangappointment;govement officials need to stick to the sense ofjustice-oriented,be diligent,compassionate Shengmin,opposeseparatism and maintain national unity.The literaturethought analysis includs two aspects:First,emphasizingarticles' social function;Second,based on this also takesthe literature the esthetic sense.The anthology edition part,through examining all previous dynasties history,variousfamily anthology preface and postscript,and the table of contents edition work,and adds on my own inspection obtained,to have made the relatively comprehensive inspection to LvWen's collection edition shape and the possible source andcourse.Especially is three or two edition systems has carriedon the comparative analysis,and I think that Lv's works onlyhas two edition systems.The literary production aspect,firstly divides into the poetry creation and the articlewriting two parts,the poetry part divides into five kindsaccording to the content:the bosom poem,the epic poem,thepractical poem,the exchangeing poem and Ji Youshi.accordingto the literary style ,the article part can be divided intoeleven kinds:Fu,Songzan,the engraved inscription,thememorial ceremony oration,the inscription stele text,theforeword to present as a gift,Ji,the politicalcomment,Biaozhuang,the correspondence,the preface andpostscript.Each kind unifies Lv Wen's biography,things likemaking friends,his thougt separately again,to conduct thethorough analytical study.This article tries hard through these elaboration,todemonstrate comprehensively that Lv Wen's value andcontribution in politics and literature can not be neglect,to promote the academical world a more correct and reasonableappraisal to Lv Wen.And the author also hopes that thisresearch,to Tang literature,particularly the young writer'sresearch in Tang Dynasty,can play a promoting action.
