China's Independent Radial Modernization: Theoretical Renovation And Path Choosing

Marxist philosophy takes "changing the world" as their own task, and the theme of practice in contemporary China is the development. So its main form is displayed as localized Chinese Marxist development philosophy. Development philosophy is about the world outlook and methodology of the development,which explores the universal nature and law of social development centered by the modernization from a philosophical point of view, researches issues such as goals,approches,route and modes of tranformation from a traditional society to modern society and from the first modernity to the second one. From the perspective of Marxist development philosophy, the research of Chinese independent radial modernization has got a extremely important theoretical value and practical significance. First of all,this research is a major subject confronted by the Marxist concept of development, in particular, the concept of scientific development.It needs to do innovative research. Secondly, this research is also scientificaly absorbing the global positive outcome of the target reseach on postdeveloping country marching into modernity and reaching the modernization,a comprehensive abstraction and analysis of Chinese modernization connstruction,a unique historical course, experiencing from a marginalization state to underdeveloped state to intermidiate developed state to developed state, and a conductive attempt to the innovation and development philosophy foscused on the China's local problems.This paper shows that: As the world's largest developing country, having experienced dual effect of the old and new globalization, China's modernization goes through three different development stages and modes , and each stage and mode will cover the duration of approximate one hundred years.So it can be referred to as the "three-hundred-year works": The first phase is called the development phase and mode of "passive-type input modernization",which was 109 years from the first Opium War in 1840 until the foundation of the PRC in 1949. The second phase is called the development phase and mode of "independent-imported modernization ",which covered around 100 years from 1949 to 2050,which is "primary stage of socialism" our party normally called.From the analysis of a division of modernization phase, it is,as Comrade Deng Xiaoping put it, that the process of from the food and clothing,to a well-off and then to the basic realization of modernization. Put it with a discourse of modernized mode,it is the development phase and mode of "independent imported modernization". The third phase is principledly called the development phase and mode of "independent radiation-based modernization", which will cover another one hundred years from 2050-2150,which goes with the intermidiate and senior stage of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. This paper mainly foscus on the three questions as follows: First,why this the development phase and mode is required? Second,what is its basic connotation?How to achieve the tranformation from the development phase and mode of independent imported modernization into independent radiation-based modernizationTheoretically Predicted in principle,the essence of China's Radiation-based modernization is that China undergoes along with the developed courtries "continuing the modernization," "Reflecting modernization" and "re-modernization", furthurly effect a transformation course from an industrial economy to postindustrial (knowledge ) economy, from industrial society to postindustrial (knowledge) society, from industrial civilization to postindustrial (knowledge) civilization on the basis of materializing China's socialist modernization. Based on postindustrial (knowledge) civilization,China will realize the great goal of socialism modernization all-roundly and reach the standard of developed countries in morndernization construction. Thus,China can truely achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the socialist road with Chinese characteristics, and once again become a world's leading country with the most advanced civilization.The main reason why the development of China's modernization moving into the phase and mode of independent radiation-based modernization can be done in the third century, is that China want to truely realize the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation and truly accomplish the foundation of China's modernization society will mostly depend on the fact of changing the high independence on the international community in the course of independent-imported-development phase and mode,freeing knowledge capital,financial capital and cultural capital of the western control and dependence on western contury, continuously upgrading the all-round interactive capacity in the course of communication between China and the world multi-subjects.Thus a historic thinking and principled predictionon the future direction of chinese modernization development is put up based on the deep understanding and reflection of the major issus and contradictions in contemporary Chinese modernaization construction.Chinese mordenization development is to realize the conversion from the development phase and mode of independent-imported modernization into the phase and mode of radiation-based modernization. And seen from signs of the he current and future times and the basic tendency and features of China's actual condition,the key essence is to adhere to the following two points: First is independent innovation in that it is the foundation of realizing the transformation from the development phase and mode of automous import to that of independent radiation-based modernization.And China can build china's modernization based on"highly advanced achivement"made by developed countries and have basic condition for radiating the world modernazation only if it possesses the competitive advantage of independent innovation and comprehensive strength in the Chinese economic, political, cultural, and social modernization. Second is adhering to peaceful development. It is because peaceful development is the basic route to achieve the Chinese independent radiation-based phase and mode from the independent imported stage and mode, which is the essencial identity of Chinese radiation-based modernization. It is a fundamental tie which combine with each other to realize the fundamental interests of China and common interests of the world, and a major strategic which is to accumulate, promote and externally radiate China's fine cultural traditions and the soft power, which reflects the China's modernization goals conform to the trend of world development and advanced concept of the historial progress.
