The Historical And Cultural Relationship Between Zhangzhou And Taiwan

In history, many Zhangzhou people moved to Taiwan ,because of war or the hardness of life. They introduced folk customs, folk art, folk religion etc. of Zhangzhou into Taiwan. All these had done a lot to push Taiwan society forward, and at the same time formed the intimate relationship between Zhangzhou and Taiwan. Based on the relative historical materials, genealogical books and other research results, and by using the methods of history, archaeology, folklore and religion, this thesis will discuss the historical and cultural relationships between the two areas in 7 aspects, which are history, patriarchal clan,language, folklore, folk opera, folk art.
