Thought rapidly developed in Eastern Zhou Dynasty,which is rare in the chinese history.Now we can not watch ideological confrontation in that time.We can imagin those thinkers' activities in the Axial Age through reading the existing documents. When we read the documents,we first touch the languages.Language is the vector of thoughts.We can discovery the ancient philosophers' activities with the language.The language is not only the vector for us,but also being.Mohist School focus on the language among the Zhuzi.Mozi attaches importance to the reason,and is different from the others on the language.The language thoery is a basic angle to study the Mozi.The dissertation is of six chapters.We discriminate the meaning of"shi" in the Mozi in the introduction.The concept of"shi" is very important for Mozi.We think the Symbol containing in the concept of "shi" is not attached importance.The first chapter discriminates the synonymous relation between notional words. We study the choice of the synonyms,and study the relaion bwtween the thought and language.The second chapter first studies the distinguishing of difference and distinguish of certainty,and studies the applying and function of judgement words.As can be seen from these,similar relationship is the important category of Mohist's language thoety.The third chapter studies the complex sentences in the Mozi.The complex sentences in the Mozi can be distinguished five types.The five types of complex sentences have different structure and functional characteristics.The fourth chapter simply compare the chinese and western logic.Based on the previous sthudies,we separately study eight types of mode existing in the debatings.The fifth chapter summarizes the key element of reasoning proses,and studies the characteristics of key element.
