The special case of Li Yu's cultural practice will be analyzed from the aspects of cultural structure and scientific logic to reveal the truth in history. Li Yu's cultural activities will be studied with the combination of his versatile cultural identity. The artistic spirit of and the aesthetic meaning of Li Yu's cultural practice will be displayed by the use the method of blending "culture, literature, the text" to study the specific issue. Through the study of his novels, dramas, works of his drama theories, the author finds that his Shi Er Lou and Xian Qing Ou Ji have higher popularity than Silent Drama as the latter was banned at that time.He Jin Hui Wen Zhuan should be Li Yu's works. This paper also provides detailed evidence to Rou Pu Tuan which is one of the reasons that people question Li Yu's character, and also provides evidence on whether it is written by Li Yu.
