The Research Of Oil Painting Teaching And Its Developing History In Hubei Institution Of Fine Arts 1985-2010

Since the 1980s, Chinese art teaching has been diversified under the impact of foreign philosophy of modern art. The history of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts (HIFA) is a miniature of Chinese modern arts education. Based on Chinese traditional education spirit, HIFA has developed its own oil painting teaching system, with a creative teaching method. Its unique teaching style and outstanding arts achievement represent the creation and development of Chinese oil painting teaching .There are still many precious experiences in HIFA’s years of oil painting teaching. This paper aims to take the experiences as an example, to state the frame of oil painting teaching and analysize teaching experiences and phenomena in the field. Besides, it will discuss how to improve oil painting teaching and Chinese oil painting education .
