This topic research significance has five points. First,Prove that Marxism in China is ahistorical choice, is the people's choice. Second,we may examine the history of politics,ideologyand culture of the translation history of marxist classics of ROC from three perspectives ofsinicization,modernization and popularization,and see the contribution of the scholars of ROC.We may make sure of the history of sinicization,modernization and popularization of marxism,and use marxism to promote scientific development and social harmony. Third,we may knowbetter the translators of ROC in order to understand that marxist classics is the "root" ofinnovation,and should "dredge origins". Text and its translation are alive solidification of reality,and text interpretation of marxism,is not useless,because text is the carrier of thought. If we wantto discern serious marxist text interpretation,we must undertake sorting,collating…in order to "letmaterial talk itself ",and "take the theory from history". Fourth,from translation perspective, wemay draw positive and negative experience of the translation of ROC.Fifth, this topic content isthe translation history of marxist classics of ROC(1912-1949).So far,we have not monographs onit. So,this topic is original and pioneering.The translation history belongs to the science of history."The Translation History of MarxistClassics in the Republic of China(1912-1949)" is to have been studied according to thechronological style of historical research,.This topic contents include the eight chapters and threeappendixes. The first chapter is introduction,first to speak reason: the overview of the translationhistory of marxist classics in late Qing Dynasty, the translation of marxist classics,multidimensional considerations of the translation of marxist classics,the history stage of ROCwhich is based on the idea of Yang Tianshi who is the researcher in modern history researchinstitute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.Then,formulate the related concepts of thetranslation history of marxist classics of ROC. At last,make the related explanations of the"translation history" and a literature review. At the same time, arrates some representative Marxistclassics and translaitors.Also analyses some positive and negative experience of the translationhistory.Chapter2is the translation history of marxist classics of temporary Nanjing governmentperiod (1912). This chapter contents are as follows: the overview of the translation history ofmarxist classics during the period, the translation history of marxist classics during the period,including the translation such as " Record of Civil Law in the West " and " Communist party declaration ". This chapter narrates some representative Marxist classics and translaitors.Alsoanalyses some positive and negative experience of the translation history.The third chapter is the translation of the northern warlord period (1912-1928). This chaptercontents are as follows:1. the translation of Yuan Shikai reign period(1912-1916), including theoverview and the translation of "the Communist Manifesto".2. Anhui Department warlord period(1916-1920),including the overview,many translations and multidimensional considerations.3.Zhixi warlord reign period(1920-1924), including the overview, many translations andmultidimensional considerations.4.Fengxi warlord reign period(1924-1928), including theoverview,many translations and multidimensional considerations. This chapter narrates somerepresentative Marxist classics(such as "Communist party declaration","Das Capital","theGerman ideology".) and translaitors(such as Yun Daiying, Chen Wangdao).Also analyses somepositive and negative experience of the translation history.The fourth chapter is the translation of Nanjing national government reign period (1927-1949)(above). This chapter contents are as follows:1. the translation of first civil war between theChinese kuomintang and CPC (1927-1937), including the overview,many translations andmultidimensional considerations. This chapter narrates some representative Marxist classics (suchas "Communist party declaration","Das Capital","the German ideology".)and translaitors(such asGuo Dali, Hua Gang).Also analyses some positive and negative experience of the translationhistory.The fifth chapter is the translation of Nanjing national government reign period (1927-1949)(middle). This chapter contents are as follows:1.the translation of the Anti-Japanese War period(1937-1945).2. the study of the translation of the Anti-Japanese War period (1937-1945),including the overview, urgent appeal, many translations and multidimensionalconsiderations.This chapter narrates some representative Marxist classics(such as "Communistparty declaration","Das Capital","the German ideology".) and translaitors(such as Guo Moruo,Zhang Zhongshi).Also analyses some positive and negative experience of the translation history.The sixth chapter is the translation of the Nanjing national government reign period(1927-1949)(below). This chapter contents are as follows:1. the translation of the period ofnegotiation between the Chinese kuomintang and CPC (1945-1946).2. the translation of secondtcivil war between the Chinese kuomintang and CPC (1946-1949), including the overview,manytranslations and multidimensional considerations. This chapter narrates some representativeMarxist classics(such as "Communist party declaration","Das Capital","the German ideology".)and translaitors. Also analyses some positive and negative experience of the translation history.The seventh chapter is on the translation history of marxist classics and sinicization, modernization and popularization of marxism. This chapter contents are as follows:1. thetranslation history of marxist classics and the sinicization of marxism,including what is thesinicization of marxism, the history of the sinicization of marxism of ROC,and the translationhistory of marxist classics and the sinicization of marxism.2.the translation history of marxistclassics and the modernization of marxism,including what is the modernization of marxism,andthe translation history of marxist classics and the modernization of marxism.3. the translationhistory of marxist classics and the popularization of marxism,including what is the popularizationof marxism, the history of the popularization of marxism of ROC,the requirements of thepopularization of marxism,popularization which is necessary for upholding and developingmarxism,and the translation history of marxist classics and the popularization of marxism."Epilogue"(The eightth chapter) summarizes the basic law and context of the translationhistory of marxist classics of ROC,and analyses the basic perspectives. This paper also designsthree appendixes:1. the overview of translation and publication of marxism classics afterLiberation;2. the overview of translation and study of marxism classics in Taiwan afterLiberation;3. the overview of translation and study of marxism classics abroad.This topic research uses "the style the history of history",to let "general analysis" and"concrete analysis"make an organic integration. In order to avoid chaos and the broken style,70%of the dissertation is historical facts and30%is the discussion. The dissertation has twoadvantages:One is adding those Marxist classics which we are not familiar to; The other is addingthose translators who we are not familiar to.Through a lot of translations,shows the real things ofthe translation history of marxist classics in every period. Based on sinicization,modernizationand popularization of marxism,interprets the translation history of marxist classics,and points outits contemporary implication.
