| The reform of ownership is at the basic level but the most important aspect of the economic restructuring. Since carrying out reform and opening-up policy, our country has kept promoting the reform of ownership. As time passing by, a new structure of ownership system that beneficially does good to the country's economic development is shaping, in which the mixed ownership playing an important and significant role. This dissertation is trying to systematically represent the issue of mixed ownership in today's China, by theoretically formulating its origin, way of operation, and evolutionary trends. As a basic, it is needed to make clear the intrinsic interactions between ownership system and market economy, as well as the relations between ownership system and commodity economy. Along with that, the article is also trying to reiterate the mixed ownership's fitting in with the current situation of China's productive forces, its conformability with the running basis of market economy and its applicability with the process of China's economic reform. By evolving both theoretical and practical visions, the article is aimed at emphasizing that the mixed ownership is suitable for China's socialist market construction and its leading role in the reform of ownership. This dissertation contains three parts: Part â… : The origin and theoretical track of mixed ownership. Included are three chapters that deal with the basic theory of mixed ownership, asserting it is a necessary and useful form in actual economic ownership system. Chapter One begins from an evolutionary track of the theory of ownership we have been through since around 1978, discusses the relations between ownership system and commodity economy. Chapter Two extends the discussion to that mixed ownership is a necessary and rational form and stage of ownership appeared in the process of China's ownership restructuring. Chapter Three examines the nature of mixed ownership, confines theoretically the concept, form, feature and significance of it. In this section, several main viewpoints are laid out as follows: a) the shift of ownership is claimed by the development of productive forces, that is to say, as productive forces are in motion, ownership is also motivated to be openly and actively adaptable; b) though ownership and commodity are both decided by productive forces, the former two are at same time demanded by each other under any same given pre-conditions; c) a main task and crucial point of China's economic restructuring is to make ownership system more suitable with actual productive forces, along with which mixed ownership claims its way in China; d) mixed ownership is a effective form of ownership that fitting in with actual productive forces and integrating socialism with market economiy. As a whole, this section focuses theoretically and practically on the origin and rational existence of mixed ownership in China in line with the basic principle that production relations is due to fit in with productive forces' demand. Part â…¡ : The practice and actual operating mechanism of mixed ownership in China's economic restructuring. In this section's three chapters, the analysis of actual role of mixed ownership playing in China's economic development is of most importance, with regard to reform of ownership' significant role in China's economic restructuring. Chapter Four begins with that extension of mixed ownership is one of fundamental factors in the construction of running foundation of socialist market economy. As it well known, the crucial task of China's economic restructuring is to set up a foundation of market economy, but state-owned sectors couldn't reach the big goal lonely. Since mixed ownership fits in with the ownership system and institutional nature of market economy, it is necessary to enlarge its ration in the ownership system to achieve a health market economy's running system.
