Study On Urbanization And Sustainable Development Of Agriculture

The level of urbanization is important sign of the prosperity of the country. The high or low level of urbanization not only relates to the level of industrialization and modernization of the country, but also directly has something to do with its agricultural development.On the problem of china's urbanization many researchers explored it and have already gained a lots of results. They mainly probed on the relationship between urbanization and industrialization or modernization, or concentrated on how to raise the level of industrialization and modernization to improve the process of urbanization. The hot point of these studies mainly concentrated on the different roads of urbanization in our country, such as big city road? Middle city road? Small city and town road? Or the different roads should be well coordinated, and so on. But the other problem of urbanization, which relates to relationship between urbanization and sustainable development of agriculture, is almost ignored by these researcher fellow in our country. The results of study above the problem are very few. The lack of theory study about the problem just pointed directly affects the process of urbanization.The design and choice of urbanization's road in our country which were deeply affected by the theory mainly concentrated on the seeking for the relationship between urbanization and industrialization or modernization were given more consideration on how to push the process of urbanization through the industrialization and modernization, but less concern on sustainable development of agriculture. These are the just reasons that the process of urbanization has not enhanced as expected; that the level of urbanization is still lagging behind the level of economic development, the level industrialization, the level of urbanization of other developing counties which are equal prosperity to our country; that the process of urbanization don't deeply harmonize with the sustainable development of agriculture; that the ability ofsustainable development of agriculture is seriously threatened. So, I choice the problem about the relationship between urbanization and sustainable development of agriculture as my task. After systems analysis I tries to explain the reason that the sustainable development of agriculture should be beneficial to improving the process of urbanization, but the viciously development of agriculture must hinder the process of urbanization; in the other words, the reasonable road which is established on the sustainable development of agriculture should be beneficial to the process of urbanization, but unsuitable road which is built on harming the sustainable development of agriculture must retard the process of urbanization.In order to choice a reasonable road of urbanization which is established on the sustainable development of agriculture and to arouse the sound interaction between urbanization and sustainable development of agriculture, analyzing the internal mechanism between urbanization and sustainable development of agriculture, and setting up the interactive model of urbanization and sustainable development of agriculture, the both above have stronger real significance and important theory significance.Centre on the train of thought above, this paper is composed of five chapters and an appendix. Chapter one is the overview of the paper, which relates to discussing the general theory of relationship between urbanization and sustainable development of agriculture. From chapter two to chapter five, this paper respectively discusses this problem: urbanization's road, economic structures adjust, the rational transfer of labors. There are two goals. The first goal is to set up the interactive model between urbanization and sustainable development of agriculture from the above four aspects.
