Modern Shipping Logistics System Integration

At present, the speedy development of hi-technology especially IT industry induces the revolution of network and information, with the tidal wave of the global informational, information revolution push the industry economy age to a new age -knowledge economy age. In knowledge economy age, the development of economic globalization and multinational company accelerate the development of international trade, which make global logistics be the most important tache in global economy's sostenuto, healthy, speedy development. International traffic is the core of global logistics, shipping is the core of international traffic. The speedy development of global logistics make world big shipping company focus on how to integrate their logistics resource, how to integrate their shipping logistics system, how to establish particular, efficacious, integrated logistics system, aiming to get the competitive advantage then grab market and get more profit. Though the speedy development of shipping logistics industry in our country, there are still low jumping-off, weak base, management draggle, technique weakness, work lack criterion etc weakness, so the shipping company of our country cannot supply high level logistics service to customer to satisfy their need. So, studying how to establish a particular, efficacious, integrated shipping logistics system under our country's actuality is the core of the development of modern shipping company. In this dissertation, we treat the modern shipping logistics system as a whole, under the guidance of system and logistics integrate theory, the systems engineering's math method and model and optimizing funds flow method in finance are used to study how to integrated the shipping logistics system. First we integrate the material flow, funds flow and information flow concretely, then integrate the three flows to a relational,interdependent and interactional system, establishing a particular, efficacious and integrated shipping logistics system. This dissertation is organized into eight chapters. Here is an overview of it.Chapter one is leading, which leads reader to the origin, meaning, theory, method, innovation and shortage of studying the integration of shipping logistics system. First, discussing the age background of this study from the point of global economy development environment and Chinese economy actuality, and arguing the practice meaning and theory meaning of studying. Secondly, arguing the main content and framework of this dissertation under the directionof studying route chart, there are four parts in this dissertation: bring forward question, discuss basic study theory, integrate the shipping logistics system, sum up and table policy proposals. Thirdly, introducing the main theories and methods used in study, emphasize this study is under the guidance of system and logistics integrate theory, use the systems engineering's math method and model and optimizing funds flow method in finance to integrate the material flow, funds flow and information flow, showing the rationality and science of this dissertation. At last, indicating the innovation and weakness of this study.Chapter two is modern logistics, which leads reader to the theory and development of modern logistics and global logistics. First, discussing the development phases of logistics and introducing all kinds of logistics concept. Secondly, analysing the characters and development trend of modern logistics at present, then discussing the situation of logistics and the difficult faced in our country, combining the development status of logistics in other countries to argue the importance of study modern logistics, emphasize that integrating shipping and logistics is imperative under the situation.
