| The tradition electricity industry is a regulated, vertically integrated business with centralized planning and decision making, since the early days of 20th century, the developing directions of electrical industry are "large generating units, large power plants and large electrical networks". In company with the development of economics and progress of society, the requirement of energy is growing more and more, the security and economy of electrical power system will be faced with challenge. The energy industry must imperatively solve the four problems: regulating reasonably the energy construction, raising the energy utilizing efficiency, improving the security of energy industry and solving the environment pollution. It is very difficulty to solve the above problems by only using large electrical network concentrated delivery, but the distributed energy system can supplement to solvingthese problems, so, the reasonable joint between large electrical network and distributed energy system is considered as the development direction of 21th century electrical industry.Distributed energy system is referred to as power system, combined heat and power system, polygeneration power system or polysupply powers system, sited in or in vicinity of load center, without bulk power transmission to remote areas. In this paper, the distributed energy system of buildings having tremendous potential markets is taken for study object to study the feasibility of distributed energy system in china. First, the data of the building's use of power, heating, and air conditioning throughout the year 2000 are collected and analyzed, then, the load characteristic curves of building's power, heating, air conditioning system are obtained. According to the office building' electric demand profile and the characteristics of local electric network, using the cost-effective analysis, the costs of distributed energy system scheme is analyzed, form the view of customer bill management, it express that distributed energy system is feasible at a competitive electric market condition.In addition, the generalized model of distributed energy system is established on the basis of the analysis of.characteristics of distributed energy system. A simple and practical economy evaluation method of distributed energy system is established by technology economy theory. Then, the economy evaluation meodel of distributed energy system is established.
