China's Industrial Agglomeration Formation Mechanism And The Development Of Countermeasures

Industrial agglomeration is a word, which describes the phenomenon of economy theoretically. It is not only a result, but. also a state. This means that industrial agglomeration is result from which are all enterprises choice same-site for themselves, and also indicate the enterprises' being state. Logistically, it is the conducts of enterprises, which are driven by the common objective (max the profit), produce agglomeration of enterprises. Certainly this will affect the conducts of enterprises.Now the phenomenon of industrial agglomeration becomes an important power to develop Chinese economics. And the change of them will influence the development of our country. So it will be useful for providing policies and developing stratagem to research industrial agglomeration.The dissertation consists of the following six sections:Introduction, provides the research task and its importance, introduce the research plan and discuss the methods that will be use in the dissertation.Chapter 1 present a general commentarial description of the existing research literature and offer the basic analysis frame. By reviewing the foreign existing research literature, this dissertation takes theoretical progress of industrial agglomeration into three phases: Complexes, agglomeration and social networks, and analyzes these three phases. This dissertation offer the new analysis frame that round the conducts of enterprises basis on the existing research literature. Because the existing research, this dissertation gives new definition, types and measurement for industrial agglomeration.Chapter 2 studies the industrial agglomeration from technique, market and natural resource. From technique there are three ways that are producing, researching and circulating to influence the conducts of enterprises. If the styles of producing, researching and circulating had changed, the principles by which enterprises choice their sites should changed. Because the costs for which enterprises take different styles of producing, researching and circulating are different under same level of technique. So when the change of costs will let enterprises change the principles of sitechoice. Market influences the enterprises directly. The market capacity, demand, structure influence the costs of site choice of enterprises. Different place have different resources. These different resources influence local industry basically. The industrial agglomerations in many places are related to the local resources, but the local resources are not the key reason.Chapter 3 studies the industrial agglomeration from government, culture and competition. Government has the important impact on economy. This dissertation thinks that there are four aspects impacts: public good, system, market environmental, intervene. Culture also will influence the industrial agglomeration on three aspects: human resource, knowledge transmit and cooperation credit between the enterprises. Different relationship among industrials will influence the site choice of enterprises. Because resources are not infinitude in any place, local industrials will do compete for resources. So some will die out, some will exist.Chapter 4 presents stability and evolvement of the industrial agglomeration, analyzes its offect. When the condition changed, the patterns of the industrial agglomeration and the kinds of local industrial will change. These changes will be among complexes, agglomeration and social network, also will rum to be unagglomeration. This dissertation analyzes that the industrial agglomeration change the cost- curve, advance efficiency of enterprises, which be in the industrial agglomeration.Chapter 5 summarizes the basic analyzing frame, then analyze the influences which is for Chinese economy from the industrial agglomeration.
