The essay sums up the history and the development of the theory of the economic growth and that of the human capital, and respectively gives the definition of the human capital from the perspective of individuals and regions. What is called the individual human capital is the total of the quality factors, through the investment of time and currency, embodied on the individuals and possessing the economic value of knowledge, ability and health and etc. what amounts to the regional human capital means the conformity of the quality factors, in a specific region, obtained through the investment and possessing the economic value of knowledge ability and health.The essay points out that the human capital can be classified into three categories, namely, the general human capital, professional and entrepreneur capital. Three different kinds of human capital play different and respective roles in the economic growth; Because of the special and important roles of the entrepreneur and professional human capital in the economic growth, they show different combination of the higher and lower storage in the regional economic growth, which can generate four corresponding different and structural models of human capital, that is: twin low model, rich in entrepreneur human capital model, prolific in professional human capital model and twin high model. The differences are caused by the investment of the human capital from various regions out of the different backgrounds of history, culture and geography, thus forming different structural models of the human capital.Through the empirical study of the economic growth of Wenzhou which is rich in entrepreneur human capital and that of the Suzhou., which is rich in professional human capital, two different models of the economic growth system are identified, and further signifying the systematic reasons for formation of the models. The essay has made the classification of the structural models of the human capital in 24 typical Chinese cities, offering the routes to optimize structural models of various human capital and dealing with the regional economic growth of various models.
