The pricing theory and its application is one of the most important branches in the research on economics and management Science, which studies on both the qualitative research of macroeconomic theory, including the analysis on pricing system and marketing mechanism and quantitative research based on micro structural analysis, including different price (Price discrimination), transfer pricing on intermediary products, pricing on auction and human resources, etc. As far as my dissertation is concerned, it studies on the formation of pricing mechanism by means of quantitative analysis based on second- degree price discrimination and pricing on auction. It further applies its research results to energy pricing in China in the hope of proving some constructive suggestions to the decision-making departments concerned. As to second- degree price discrimination, based on the important results obtained from the presently applied two methods second- degree price discrimination-----pricing of equal divisional demand section and fixed discount rate pricing, this dissertation makes a further and more practical extension on the applicable conditions and research of second-degree price discrimination, including further and more deeply research on the determination of sectional number of demand section, the determination of sectional number of demand section under the context of competition, Nash equilibrium of second- degree price discrimination under the context of competition, existence of maximum solution under nonlinear demand and second- degree price discrimination under demands at random. From the above-mentioned researches, some important conclusions have been made, for instance, the maximum for divisional number of demand section is from the 4th section to 5th section; the possible of applying second degree discrimination given the context of with the similar competitive level of manufacturers; the existence of maximum under the condition of nonlinear demands and the similar conclusions based on the determination of demands at random and certainty. etc.The research on bidding pricing is of a very wide range. My dissertation researches into it from the following several aspects: study on bidders' interests including the study on the number of bidders involved and the maximum decisions of multi products auction at random; on bidding mechanism based on bidders' interests, including the influences on bidding mechanism owing to bidders' attitude changing and maximum reservation under the condition of the number of bidders at random, etc. Based on all the above-mentioned researches, this dissertation has put forward some constructive suggestions to China's pricing on energy and introduces second –degree price discrimination to civil energy markets. What's more, the research achievements of bidding and auction can be applied to the energy exploration, purchase and projects. Then, a complete set of pricing system on energy exploration, transportation and marketing can be established in theory in hoping to providing some references to decision making departments.
