It is because of the shortage of the current economic theories thatChina'S financial structure adjustment is studied from the perspectiveof industrial economiCS.ThiS dissertation,based on the currentfinancial structure and financial developmental theories,with China'Sdual economy as its background,as well as with the urban and ruraleconomic development as its two wings,has made a thorough and systematicinVestigatiOn into the influence of industrial development upon thefinancial structure adjustment. Chapter one iS an introduction.Based on the reflections on the theoryof China'S dual economic structure,the dissertation has formed the basicafialytic methods for the study of China'S industrial background in thefinancial structural adjustment,and established the threads of writingas well as the research framework by means of locating its purpose andmethods of research,and of delimiting its range and categories ofinvestigation. Chapter Two is the literature review.Mainly based on the theory ofthe dual economic structure,and guided by Marxist economic theories,itfocuses on the depiction of industrial development and financialstructural adjustment and their relative theories So as to theoreticallyidentify the mechanism affected by the industrial development in theprocess of economic development. In Chapter three,the author has first establ ished a model on therelativity of financial Structural development and industrialdevelopment in order to set a theoretically analytic framework for theresearch of the whole dissertation.And then,from the perspective of theinteraction between the demand of the industrial development andfinancial service functions,it has studied the organism of the modernfinancial structure so as to testify the influence of the industrialdevelopment on the financial structural adjustment as wel l as thepromotion of industrial development caused by the financial structuraldevelopment. Chapter four is the first part of empirical studies.By means of theanalysi s of the industrial developmental background in China'S ruralfinancial structural adjustment,it has mainly revealed the industrialorigins of the unreasonable development in the rural financial structure0n the basis of which it has clarified the direct ion of the financialstructure adjustment with the choice of the rural industrialdevelopmental orientation and the analysis of the related financialdemand and supply as its major clue. Chapter five is the second part of empirical studies By means of theanalysis of the industrial developmental background in China'S urbanfinancial structural adjustment,it has mainly revealed the reasonabilityand the industrial origin of the unreasonable development in the currentfinancial structure on the basis of which it has clarified the directionof the financial structure adjustment with the choice of the urbanindustrial developmental orientation and the analysis of the relatedfinancial demand and supply as its major clue. Chapter six is one part of the comparative studies and also thesustained part of the above empirical studies.On the basis of the analysisof the historical origin formed by China'S"the dual industry"and"the dual finance",it has mainly made the comparative analysis of theindustrial developmental background in China'S urban and rural financialstructure adjustment,and then,it has examined the developmentaldifferences in China'S urban and rural financial structures.Finally,based on the empirical study and comparative analysis concerning China'Surban and rural conditions,it has exerted theoretical examination andanalysis for the theoretical models established in the third chapter.
