| A great development has taken place in our country's socialist economic construction. But there are many serious troubles, such as, excessive population and serious pollution which has held back the sustainable development of Chinese economic and ecology. Industry structure of heavy industrialization has restricted further development. Therefore, it is a key that how to solve the difficulty for my country's socialist economic construction through adjusting industrial structure. Based on the reality of the adjustment of Chinese industrial structure, under the base of the industrial economic theory, using sustainable development as main thread, in the ways of comparative analysis, this paper discusses and studies the relationship between sustainable development and industrial structure .It strives to find aspects of industrial structure which conflict with sustainable development, and builds up a basic framework of thrice industrial structure for Chinese sustainable development.It consists of four parts. Firstly, this part discusses the raising, intension and estimating standards of sustainable development, and indicates urgent situation and necessity of carrying out sustainable development strategy of China. Secondly, this part summarizes the adjustive experience of our industrial structure in different phases from reformation to this day, and indicates unitary and inner changing characteristic of our industrial structure. Thirdly, this part lucubrates affinity of industrial structure and resource and environment, and indicates direction which industrial structure must optimize for realizing resource and environmental and economical sustainable development. The direction is realizing coordination and advancing of industrial structure. Simultaneity, it analyzes aspects of industrial structure which conflict with sustainable development. Finally, based on sustainable development, this part explored the way of adjustment of our thrice industrial structure.
