Automobile industry represents the industrialization level of a country. The vehicle volume of China has jumped to the No. 4 in the world. At the new historic stage when China is constructing its well-off society, the auto industry is still the important pillar industry in its national economy. In the new international competition in 21st century, in order to achieve the strategic goal that China auto industry steps into the strongest countries, we must use new thought to consider and research the development of the industry, to constitute the forward-looking and reasonable industrial policy, achieve the adjustment and optimization of industrial organization, and to improve our international competitiveness, which is also the purpose and significance that this paper lies in.By reviewing the development of our auto industry, analyzing the relationship of industrial growth with industrial organization form and organization structure, we conclude that perfection of our automobile industrial organization structure is imperative under the situation. Our auto development prospects and auto industry scale predication are described in quantity and quality by analyzing the potential demand and the development trends in our auto market and by using binary linear regression equation respectively.In the paper the market structure of China automobile industry is omnibearing studied, the scale economy, product differentiation, barrier for entering and withdrawing and concentration degree of production are deeply demonstrated. The characteristics and causes of the market structure are revealed. Based on comparison with developed countries, the development trend of our country's automobile industrial market structure is defined.A pricing model is given as per the oligopoly market structure in our auto industry. Combining with the product market orientation and pricing target analysis, a conclusion is obtained that in China automobile market same type and grade of product tends to take common price. From the system's environment analysis, the cause for the sustaining "three high" in our auto industry and the trend of industry price changing are revealed. The price coordination behavior isanalyzed, and the fact is presented that government, trades society and business conglomerate play different roles in price coordination in different historic times.By deeper study of the technical innovation behavior in auto industry in a brand new view of the market behavior, the position and roles that the technical innovation plays in development of auto industry is demonstrated. By analyzing the characteristics, historic rules and development modes, a conclusion is obtained that the simulation and cooperative innovations shall prevail in technical innovation, and based on this the independent innovation shall be conducted. From the monopolization and competition, the large, medium and small enterprises have their own advantages in respect of roles they play in technical innovation. Through analysis on coalition in technical innovation, a conclusion is given that China auto industry must conduct the technical innovation in a manner of "mainly rely on enterprise, coordinated by government, organized and allied to jointly tackle key problems", and a mode of the secondary innovation on the basis of technical introduction is proposed.By elaborating the dialectical relationship between property right recombination and market resource allocation, and by demonstrating the agreement agency system and analyzing enterprise merger and combination, it is pointed out that the property right recombination is not the only one correct choice. Analyzed from the industry value chain optimization, it is also stated that the vertically integrated labor division does not accommodate the requirements for the industry development.
