Aiming at building up a well-to-do society, Chinese economy isimproving greatly on the growth of speed and quality but an evident distance fromdeveloped countries still exist. The aim of the thesis lies in probing the arrangement ofincentive institutions and their evolution process and constructing a multistory systemof incentive institutions from inside to outside of enterprises. It is necessary to comply with a logical mainline and build up a key theory in theresearch on enterprises' innovation during the change of institution. The technologicalinnovation is used as the mainline to run through the innovation in and amongenterprises, the innovation of market institution and governmental functions, thenational innovation system in the thesis. Based on Marxist economic theory, theinterrelationship between the technological innovation of enterprises and institutionalinnovation is analyzed thoroughly and systematically during the course of Chineseeconomic transformation, meanwhile the western innovation theory and InstitutionalEconomics are used for reference. By means of classification, connection andevolution, technological innovation study is put into enterprises and aims atexplaining their demands and reflection of different incentive institutions ontechnological innovation. Thus the changing process of incentive institutions isobserved with the changes of enterprises. The thesis is divided into two sections including the introduction and the otherfive chapters. The researching background, concepts, method, framework andcharacteristics are given in the introduction. Chapter 1 briefly reviews andsummarizes the thinking origin and developing sequence of innovation theory andthen put forward establishing the supporting system with enterprises as principal partof technological innovation. Tracing back to the history of technological innovationand enterprises' institutional change, the incentive institution system in the enterprises IIIis discussed from the perspective of the innovation of the property rights andorganization mechanism in Chapter 2. Chapter 3 emphasizes the necessary choice todevelop the cooperative innovation among enterprises due to the influence ofknowledge economy. The mechanism of connection, management and movement inthe innovation network gives an abundant expression to the characteristics of thecooperative innovation in the tide of knowledge economy. The case study oninnovation network in Toyota cooperation and Germany industrial recessive district isprovided so as to suggest the construction of our enterprises' network and thedevelopment of the highly technological district in our country. Chapter 4 testifies theinnovation of market system as the spontaneous power resources and focuses theanalysis of market system on spurring the transaction of technological innovationachievements and encouraging the effective competition among enterprises. Theinnovation of governmental functions plays a catalytic role in enterprises' innovationin Chapter 5.
