Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a critical success factor of enterprise informatization. But there are so many failure cases during Chinese ERP implementation. The evaluation of match degree between information platform and management platform of enterprise in ERP environment is the core content of the dissertation in order to evaluate the gap between the two platforms and provide consultance to the enterprise informatization. Firstly, the definition of information platform, management platform and match is given. It provides theory basis for the design of three dimension match model of two platforms of enterprises which include the-internal-strategy, tactics, operation, the external-environment and time. The presentation of enterprise by ERP is researched from the view of system structure, organization structure and business process. Secondly, with the reference of management theory, evaluation theory and five star balance scorecard, Match Degree Evaluation Model (MDEM) of two platforms is established to evaluate gap between two platforms, measure the capability for ERP implementation, and to select ERP software.Thirdly, MDEM can be used in ante-evaluation, intermediate evaluation and post-evaluation during the course of ERP implementation. Also the benefit of ERP implementation can be evaluated base on the model.Fourthly, the Relation Degree Model of two platforms is designed based on the theory of grey relation.At the end, a case study of F company is presented using above methods. The results of demonstration research show the problems of the company, and some advice and strategy is proposed. The results also prove that MDEM can illuminate proper strategy for ERP implementation.
