By the interlacement of subjects, the dissertation probes into the problems and their causes now exists in the fashion design in our country, construct the Design Elements Theory Based on Fashion Brands, and digitalize the results of study. The research is divided into 2 parts:1. The Study on the Fashion Design TheoryAfter researching the main problems that exist in the apparel industry in our country, the style of the fashion brands is found to be one of the main factor that lead to the unsteadiness of the domestic fashion market. The main factor that would make influences on the style of the brands is the design ability of the fashion designers or the ones who take the role of fashion designers. And the main factor that would make influences on the design ability is the design theory. The dissertation put forward the Theory of Design Elements which based on the background of fashion brands. Hopefully this kind of research on theories would help to improve some point of views and behaviors.As there exists fuzzy phenomenon in fashion design elements and brand styles, they are not possibly to be expressed exactly by mathematics. Hence, the phenomena mentioned in the dissertation are analyzed according to the Fuzzy Theory.2. The Digitalization of Fashion DesignDigitalized fashion design has always been the weak point in the Apparel CAD/CAM Systems. The dissertation targets at the intelligentize of fashion design, and combines the Theory of Design Elements and the experiences in real practice. The first step is to make a research on the fashion design principle, discuss about the fashion styles and its quantifization, put forward the application of the Fuzzy Theory, and maximize the subjection of garment detail styles by establish the variant of garment detail styles. The next step is to establish the structure of intelligentized fashion design system and the technical method of its realization, which based on the research on the design of intelligentized human-computer interactive interface, the capture of fashion design knowledge, the knowledge library, the database, and the establishment of its administration system, etc. At last, with the application of VC++, the assumption of Intelligentized Fashion Design is realized with the base of digitalized fashion styles.The innovative points in the dissertation are:1. Although fashion design is geist and practical, here look into the relationships between fashion brands and design elements by logical analyze method. By using the point of view from Fuzzy Theory for reference, start from the concept, principle and application method of design elements, discuss about the original meaning of Fashion Design based on the essence of Fashion and Brand, put forward the Theory of Design Elements which based on fashion brands systematically and integratedly for the first time, and using the result of research as the precondition of the realization of digitalized design model.2. As applicability of theories is emphasized in the paper, here put forward the systematically analysis method of design elements in target brand for the first time, which begins with the anatomy of the design elements that were used in the target brand in recent years. The classify chart of design elements would show clearly the application instance of the design elements in the target brand, which helps to grasp the fashion trend of the target brand. This would be a change from negative to positive in design, and enhance the products design to be more initiative. The method has been experimented for many times in design works, and also been appreciated by the apparel companies. It is proved to be actual and practical.3. The dissertation conduct the user by the realization of digitization, which would let the users, especially the amateurs begin their design with their conceptive inspiration, subdivide into every detail in the garment step by step, and the process of digitalized fashion design will be completed automatically by the human-computer interactive system.
