Study Of Contemporary China's Political Stability Mechanism

Under Contemporary China, with the rapid transition from the traditional society to the modern society, drastic changes of the social structure have taken place, deep restructure of the interest pattern has occurred, large-scale social mobilization has appeared, interest consciousness of people has waken up day by day and the social contradictions have come to the surface evidently, the whole society is at the key stage of the coexistence of prominent contradiction and gold development. In the face of such a complicated, plural and changeable situation, the political system has to deal with such issues, namely, how to optimize its structure and function by way of the effective mechanisms constantly, unblock the political input channel and enlarge political output effect, only in this way can the political system enhance its social cohesiveness and integration and maintain its stable operation. Because in terms of political science, as a open system, the political system is composed of factors such as input, output and feedback, etc. The motive force of operation of political system lies in its interaction with the social system, only when the political system can respond to the social demand positively and integrate the plural demand of the society by supply of the effective public products can it get the social approval and support, strengthening the abundant legitimacy foundation for its own lasting operation. From this angle, the political stability is a process of the benign interaction between the political system and the social environment. Generally speaking, the core level of the political system such as the regime and the basic political system is relatively stable, it will not present great fluctuation unless the political coup or the social turbulence of overall importance takes place. What has the lasting influence on the stable operation of the political system is the question of constant loss of political legitimacy resources, the reason that the legitimacy resources run off constantly comes from the accumulation of political mood of people and the social conflict led by the out-of-balance of relation of social interest. So, to the political system, the key problem lies not in whether there are contradictions and conflicts or not in the society but in how it build up various kinds of the mechanism of political stability to dilute the political mood, deal with the social conflict and promote the constructive interaction with the social system by way of the benign input and output, In this sense, the mechanism of political stability is composed of the various kinds of operational modes, operation ways and operation principles that can support its benign interaction with the social system. Based on the basic views of political legitimacy and interest analysis as the logic clue, the author divides the mechanism of political stability into two major parts including the internal mechanism of the political stability and external mechanism of political stability according to the function principle namely political input, integration and political output. The internal mechanism of political stability constitutes the main part of the political system involved the dilution mechanism of political mood, the integration mechanism of political system and the mediation mechanism of social conflict. The external mechanism of political stability refers to the cultivation of the self-management of society lying in the outside of political system and producing lasting influence on the operation of political system. Generally speaking, the interaction between the political system and the society is finished through the flow of political information, without political information, there would be no interaction.
