Since the post-cold war, the illegal migration issue, as a kind of non-traditional security factor, has constituted all-round challenges to the development of the world community in the areas such as economy, politics, culture and security. It has been more and more serious globally and addressed as a priority in international cooperation agenda. Driven by the world tide of illegal migration and the globalization of economy, China's illegal migration issue becomes increasingly severe and draws incremental concerns from the world community, which is by all means detrimental to China's development and rising-up march. The title for the paper is The studies on China's illegal migration since 1949, consisting of five parts. Part one is the introduction of the paper, briefly illustrating the significance and time background of the selection of this study topic, the academic history of this theme, the definition of the architecture and the main intentions of the paper. Chapter one of the main text, namely the second part of the paper, titled executive summary of the illegal migration is supposed to define the illegal migration, differentiated with similar concepts, brief the available theories and dissect the reasons and impacts of this movement with the introduction of its history. Chapter two, titled analysis on contemporary China's illegal migration issue focuses on the academic illustration of the concept, connotation, history, reasons and characteristics of China's illegal migration movement. Chapter three titled policy recommendations and international cooperation puts forward the policy recommendations for Chinese government to control the movement, and studies the concrete practices and different levels of anti-illegal migration international cooperation. The final part is the conclusive remarks of the paper, listing author's views on the nature of the illegal migration issues.
