On The National Theory Of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics

The national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the theoretical crystallization of the combination of Marxism national theory with the national conditions and era characteristics at different stages of the socialist period in China, carried out by the three-generation leading collectivity of the Communist Party of China, in exploration of the solution to our national problems at the primary stage of socialism. It is the correct theoretical summarization verified by the practice of the socialist national work in our country in the past half a century. It is the Chinese Communist Party's great contribution to Marxism national theory. A thorough and systematic study of this theory is of great theoretical and realistic significance for calmly facing various influences that the complicated international and domestic situations in the contemporary world exert on the national problems in our country; it is also significant for constantly and timely propelling forward the healthy development of our socialist national theoretical research, especially for promoting our national work in the new period of harmonious socialist society construction in this new century. The dissertation is composed of introduction and three parts with six chapters. The introduction describes the historical background and the investigation scope of the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, elucidates the basis and significance of the present study, introduces the basic research status of this subject at home and abroad, and clarifies the theoretical framework, focus and innovation of the present study. The introduction also points out the main research method of this dissertation. The first part, which mainly consists of Chapter One and Two, is about the theoretical source and historical investigation of the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics: Chapterâ… describes the theoretical source of the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, its dissemination and primary development in China. It is a historical and systematic review of Marxism-Leninism national theory, its dissemination in China and the development of Mao Zedong national thoughts during the period of New Democracy, mainly investigated from the theoretical source. The goal is to clarify the successive and innovative theoretical relationship between the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics and Marxism national theory. Chapter â…¡ reviews the history of the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Through a vertical historical investigation of the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, its developmental thread, theory content and innovative contribution at different stages are clearly classified. It consequently demonstrates that the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the crystallization of the collective wisdom of the three-generation Chinese Communist represented by Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, who progressively combine Marxism national theory with China's national conditions in seeking the proper solution to China's socialist national problems. It also proves the succession and continuity of the development of the theory in itself. The second part, which mainly consists of Chapter Three and Four, is about the systematic structure and basic content of the national theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is the key part of the present study, with an overall horizontal analysis of the socialist national theory with Chinese characteristics and a systematic construction of the system as well.
