At the end of19th century, Chinese set off a wave of "New National Theory" thought forthe task of salvation and booming of nation, at the same time by the impact of "the first priorityof China is New Nation today". Realizing national independence and national prosperity isevery Chinese dream through the improvement of the national spirit. In modern times, Yan Fu"Three Principles of New National Theory", Liang Qi-chao’s "New National Theory" thought,Lu Xun’s reveal of human nature and Chen Du-xiu’s expectations for "New Youth", whichindicates "New National Theory" thought is the theme concerning by Chinese all the time. MaoTse-tung’s "New National Theory" thought inherits and develops the essence of pioneers andprovides a theoretical and practical guidance for future generations.The development of the Mao Tse-tung’s "New National Theory" thought is divided intothree stages: the first stage is the embryonic period which he studied outdoor since1910to thefounding of the Communist Party of China in1921, Which mainly is the pursuit the target of"New Nation" through the criticism of the tradition and national deep-rooted bad habits; Thesecond stage is the new democratic revolution period for liberating of the Chinese nation underthe Mao Tse-tung’s leading from1921to the establishment of the people’s Republic of China in1949; The third stage is the national socialist revolution and construction period from1949tohis death in1976, which officially formed his unique "New National Theory" thought. MaoTse-tung advocated we should foster all-round talents in need of the social revolution andconstruction.Research on Mao Tse-tung’s "New National Theory" thought, which not only providesvaluable experience for the realization of comprehensive human development and promotes themodernization of China, but also provides historical reference for the realization of "ChineseDream". However, Mao Tse-tung’s "New National Theory" thought is constrained by subjectiveconditions and times, Therefore, it reflects the one-sided emphasis on direct experience andpeople’s subjective initiative with ignoring systematical learning and objective laws of socialdevelopment.
