Changes of environment lead to changes of organization forms. From the beginning of 1980s, a new form of organization, network organization (NO), has emerged, which has brought research and discussion theoretically and in practice. Compared to former organizations, this new organization has some advantages in flexibility, agility, especially in dynamic environment. While, at the same time, such new organization has also suffered high rate of failure, one reason is such organization is a considerable new one; the study to it is at exploring stage.In order to deepen the study of network organization and look for new successful operation of NO, the dissertation tries to study integration of network organization, using integration theory, learning theory, organization theory, organizational behaviors, general systematic theory, management theory and methodologies. Literatures on network organization suggest the possibility of synergic effects of network organization, but the forming of such organization does not mean to ensure such synergic effects come true. The synergic effects can only achieve through the effects of human being—through actively integration, that is, the integration of goals, resources, information, knowledge, culture and process, to make nodes of network organization to integrate, cooperate and coordinate. Therefore, to realize the intent of forming network organization, synergic effects and whole gains.Discuss the possibility, concept, principles, platform, elements, integration models, integration types and factors that affect integration of NO. Establish framework of integration theory of NO. Research deeply integration element of NO: aim integration, resource integration, information integration, culture integration and process integration. Point out process integration is like a red thread, ties together resources, information, knowledge, workflows and nodes of NO, so that, all the nodes of NO form a value creating system. In order to ensure the success of integration of NO, four mechanisms designed, and construct a systematic model of intenerated NO. In the end, assess the effects of the integration of NO.The dissertation has nine chapters.Chapter 1. Introduction. Through literature review from domestic and foreign researchers, answers the question why chooses this topic, puts forth the main contents, methodologies of the study, gives questions to be resolved, and innovation of the dissertation.Chapter 2. A general study of network organization. From the motives of the formation of network organization, its definition, types, characteristics of operation of network organization and theories explanations to give a clear framework of network organization, and elicit integration perspective of network organization.Chapter 3. A study of General theory of integration of network organization. After a brief review of integration theory, give general theory of integration of network organization. From thepossibilities of integration of network organization, definition, principles, platforms and basic elements of the integration of network organization, and their relationships, integration models, types, factors, steps and factors that affect integration of NO. Gives a general framework of integration theory of network organization.Chapter 4. The major integration contents, models and interrelationships of integration elements. The author discuss in detail: goaf integration, resource integration, information integration, knowledge integration, culture integration, process integration, and analysis the relations between these integrations. This chapter is further study of Chapter 3.Chapter 5. Trust mechanism of network organization. From the definition, classifications and network trust and the function of trust to integration of network organization, the author gives initial trust building mechanisms and the mechanisms of maintaining trust in network organization.Chapter 6. The chapter mainly discusses the definition, characteristics and function of learning to the integration of network organization, and puts forth mechanisms of learning and knowledge transfer, and the barriers of learning and knowledge transfer and how to overcome such barriers.Chapter 7. The chapter analyses the communication, conflicts and coordination of network organization. The author analyses the features, functions and effective implementation of communication of network organization. And also discuss the conflicts and the sources of conflicts of network organization, and design the coordination mechanism of network organization.Chapter 8. The Realization and Assessment of integration of network organization. This chapter gives a systemic model of integration of network organization and put forth several characteristics of network organization after the realization of integration of network organization. At the end of this chapter, the author gives an assessment system of the integration of network organization.Chapter 9. Summary and prospecting of the research. Summarize the dissertation and innovation points and indicate the future study directions.
