Understanding Marx

Understanding is the core of hermeneutics. Understanding Marx is to understand the theories and total spirit of Marx from hermeneutics view. It involves two points: One is whether Marx theories are coexistent with hermeneutics and whether it's a misunderstanding to understand Marx with the theories in hermeneutics; the second is whether we can explain Marx with the theories in hermeneutics directly. If not, what kind of transformation can be made in the theories of hermeneutics? We think that the theories of Marx and hermeneutics have the quality of coexistence,we can dig up and extract the methods of"Practical hermeneutics"from the theories of Marx. It can be used to understand the theories of Marx itself and change the analyzing ideology of the theories in hermeneutics. Meanwhile, as the special theoretical ideology, practical hermeneutics can be used to understand Marx and gain the total spirit of Marx. Therefore, as a bridge to the methodology between Marx theories and theories in hermeneutics, practical hermeneutics provides the theoretical resource in the new conditions of history and enlarge the theoretical space in the development of the theories in hermeneutics itself."Practical Hermeneutics"plays an important role in the"theoretical"ideology criticism, the occurrence of theoretical ideology criticism is mystification of the theory itself caused by theories without practice. The theories become the ones without origin and former experiences. Practical hermeneutics is to"demystify"the theories by establishing"hermeneutics circle"between theories and practice. The understanding of Marx in practical hermeneutics must criticize ideologically to the theoretical mode of understanding Marx, the theoretical mode of structuralism and the theoretical mode of ideology criticism, let them break away from their own unaware, practical and critical features and make creative"dialogues"with the theories of Marx, and thus, enrich our understanding to Marx and extend the standard of the theories of Marx.
